Went here twice and the Food is wonderful. You set yourself. The only thing I do not like is you don't get refills on your drink you get the ticket when you get your food there is no waiting and asking if there is anything else you need or want when you get your food is the last time you see your waitress unless your chasing them down to give them a tip.

Lovely small country diner with big portions. Left the interstate to find it for breakfast and it didn't disappoint! The owner served our table and she is lovely. Highly recommend!

We waited a little to long everyone keep walking past us and then when we finally got are food it was cold but I was not going to say anything because it took them so long the first time

Promoted as home cooking only to get canned and frozen foods. Wife ordered “catfish” that wasn’t catfish and was hard as a rock when it came to table, she ordered creamed corn but they brought whole kernel corn to table at first then fixed the mistake so I decided to try the whole kernel corn and it was soured. The creamed corn was straight from can as well. I ordered the chicken fried steak which was also tough and from a freezer bag. Only decent thing we had was the Almond joy cake. We’ve been here a couple times and it’s been bad both times so won’t be back!

1st time visit and great little spot for breakfast. Great prices and great food. A new regular spot now.We got the bacon, egg & cheese sandwich, it came with tomatoe, lettuce and mayo on toast. Also got grits and added chopped bacon and cheese that was good. And we got the home fries. The home fries are bigger than expected, the thin ones were delicious, I suggest they make them all sliced and not chuncks.

It wasn't the waitresses fault but the food was absolutely awful. There was no flavor. It tasted like someone opened up a can of beans heated them in the microwave and slapped them in a bowl. We didn't even finish our meal due to the poor quality. I later heard that locals get discounts in exchange for good reviews. This place is a one-star at best. We will not be returning.

Drove out of our way to eat at Janice’s based on google reviews and I am so glad we did. Everything was great from the atmosphere to the people to the food! It was my birthday and the waitress sent me home with a dessert of my choice! Between my husband and I we had pancakes, French toast, home fries with peppers and onions, biscuits and gravy, sausage and corn nuggets. I snuck a sample of my chocolate cake and it’s probably the best cake I’ve ever had (sorry, Mom!). We will definitely be back the next time we’re in the area.
