Server was good. She didn't check on us enough considering the fact that maybe 3 tables were occupied (food also came out slower than it should). Food was good. They did not have everything on the menu. Employees in the kitchen were cussing each other out and yelling so loud we could hear them at our table 🤦♀️

We don’t normally go to Applebee’s, but I had a gift card, so we came up here to eat. It was dead, despite it being a Friday night, which should have been our first clue, but we got sat and waited for our server for several minutes. Eventually a very nice lady came over and took our drink and food order, and we got our appetizers. The queso was almost pure liquid and needed to be seasoned with salt and pepper to actually have flavor, our second disappointment of the night. Despite the fact that there was hardly anyone in the place, it took a long time for our entrees to come out, and when they did, it was the biggest disappointment of the night. The tomato sauce was little more than tomato paste, bland and tasteless, though the chicken Parmesan wasn’t bad other than that huge disappointment. My son got the steak, for an upcharge with the 2 for $25 by the way, and it was thin and bland and a little stringy, though at least cooked correctly. They were sadly out of broccoli due to a recall, so he got fries and he said that they had too much seasoning to the point that it was overwhelming. To top off our experience, our waitress hadn’t come to check on us at all since dropping off the food, so we had to just sit there and hope she would show up. No servers were on the floor at all, but one had come out a few times to check on his table and I asked him for my check. He got our waitress and we finally got to end our disappointing visit. A waste of $40, I would just stay at home, unless you like bland food.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was great and the atmosphere was inviting and comfortable. Whenever we come to visit Covington, we eat here at some point. Always a safe bet and will continue to return.

They were terrible the manager waited on us after about 15 minutes of waiting. She took our drink and meal order brought our drinks then we never saw her again. Mentioned it to the others at the table that I thought she was probably the cook also come to be she was. We waited for 2 hours never saw her again couldn’t get refills. So after about 2+ hours we got up and left. There were others there waiting also for long periods of time. Another table that got there 15-20 minutes after us and ordered after us that received there meal. We won’t be back !!!!

I didn't get to try the food because no one ever came to take my order. I sat waiting for 20 minutes....at the bar! All the employees seem focused on trying not to see you so you couldnt stop them to ask for anything. They weren't as busy as I expected them to be when I first walked in and now I know why. I've worked Applebee's in the past and there's no excuse for the lack of service I seen throughout the whole restaurant. By far theworst I'vee seen in a long time.
This is a very dirty restaurant. The bathroom is horribly nasty. The food is disgusting. Service isn't much better than the food. The server was nice.

We visited this location after church and didn’t expect such slow service. We informed the manager on the issue and he just said that they were short handed. The manager didn’t seem like he was really concerned. He didn’t try to help the server at all.

The food here is excellent. I enjoyed it and the people that I was with seem to enjoy their food. I'm going to give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt and say I believe that they were a little understaffed. Tonight. There was a considerable weight from the order to win the food service began. I think the young lady's working tonight were diligent but they didn't seem happy about being there. Every indication like I said would be that maybe they were short-staffed. If you're patient and you want a quality meal, I would suggest this place. If you're in a hurry, maybe think twice.
