Went 10 minutes before breakfast was over & asked if I wanted to wait on a fresh biscuit and I said yes. After waiting on my food & arriving 1 mile down the road for church, I discovered that I didn't receive the fresh biscuit, the cheese wasn't melted on the egg and the whole thing was cold. I didn't have time to return ? !
Jack's has really changed since opening. The service time was never great , but the food quality was excellent and kind of made it not to bad. Not anymore, got a order inside to go and waited 27 minutes and would have been longer if I had not asked the girl how much longer. The food quality very poor. Potatoes horrible, gravy consistency of pudding. Hate to leave a review like this , but this is the second time this has happened.
Went here for dinner as we were in town doing business. We frist thought this was affiliated with another "Jack" restaurant. Ordered the 3 piece tender meal, with potatoes and slaw. Was really good. The potatoes had that home cooked flavor and feel. Would definitely come back. Wish we had one in Central Illinois where I'm from..hint hints 😉
