The owners and management, of Sourwood & Sage, should have taken a little bit more time before opening. The fans and vents are covered in dust. The salad bar is sparse. The ranch dressing is watered down and a little thicker than 2% milk. The carrots taste like they were dumped in the food bin without being washed. All the fried food, on the buffet, looked like it had been cooked in old oil. The soup station did not have a cover over the food. To top the evening off, they were already out of food (GF pizza dough) listed on their menu, by 5:30pm.

Buffet was a little pricey for the options available, but the taste was good. They have wood fire pizza oven. My pizza was delicious.

The service was great, the food needs help. We ate off the buffet, the chicken was good the rest of the items had no flavor, extremely bland. My daughter had pizza and it was pretty good. I'm very disappointed, we were looking forward to a good buffet but this is not it. The rolls were old and hard along with the sides being bland, the squash tasted like it was poured from a can. I hope this place gets better. Thanks to our waitress for her amazing service. I wish I k ew her name.

Neither my wife or I cared for the buffet here.I particularly did not care for the eggs but my wife thought they were okay. We thought the grits were good but the rest of the selection was not particularly good. You would be better off by going to the breakfast nook in atoka.

The food took a while to come out, sat in the window for 5-10 minutes, and the portions for the brisket were not for a man, and the hamburger was not good at all, no season on it at all, and the fries were cold. Hopefully there Buffett will be

One of the best restaurants around, even though they're just starting! Food is amazing, especially the pizza, and the staff are incredibly friendly!

Cons: My brisket was dry, the corn on the Cobb was old and mushy, I did not like the green beans either. Food on the buffet was left out for way to long. Instead of making a fresh corn for my side they just used one from the buffet. The bag spinach on the buffet was starting to go. Like when it sits in the fridge to long and some start to turn to mush, not dries out like on the line to long. The bus boys were too eager to clear our table. Lots of young employees one of which took something from the banana pudding and licked her finger right of the buffet line. They were out of Mac n cheese, and potatoes.Pros: the waitress and owner were nice, the burgers were thick, my daughter liked her rib eye, and some of the buffet items were liked by others. The atmosphere was nice if a bit cramped.I get it's a new place, only been open a couple weeks and they have stuff to work out, but I won't be back anytime soon till they do. They had lots of really young employees. We did come late, and left half a hour before close.
Wheelchair accessibility: To many tables to get a chair through easily

I ate at sourwood and sage last Tuesday. When I went in the atmosphere was very welcoming and warm. Samantha, my server was absolutely wonderful and very attentive. She made sure I was taken care of. I drink a lot of iced tea and I never had ask for a refill.I had the buffet and the food was completely fresh made. I am very impressed with sourwood a sage.I would recommend the establishment to anyone looking to eat in a warm, attentive, and family friendly establishment.

New business in the location the old Bald Butcher. Recently opened and still getting organized somewhat. The bbq plate I got had a generous enough portion of meat to make two sandwiches. Potato salad and beans were good. Wished I’d tried the pizza. Maybe next time.
Parking: Very big parking lot.

Came by for lunch, surprised the pizza was not on the menu. Was shocked when told they did not have any fries. I don't understand why they could have not gotten fries or potatoes from a grocery store. Chose the Mac & cheese for my substitute item, was shells & cheese. No where near mac & cheese. My chicken sandwich was ok, on a dry hot dog bun. I'll have to pass next time.
