For almost $11 for a salad I truly expected my salad to have more meat! It was basically a bag of shredded lettuce with just a little chicken, cheese, tomato and onion. Taste was okay. Kind of a rip off really.

Inexpensive, good, plain people food. Great owners and wait staff. Old building, but clean. We enjoy eating here, especially breakfast.

Best greasy spoon in Crossville. Fried bologna, eggs, and gravy is the best!

Greasy spoon. Building is crumbling. With not many choices for a good breakfast, it's alright. Service was very good. Food was good. But come on Crossville, do better!Parking: Like most businesses in Crossville, the parking lot is stupid.

The book is so much better than the cover.I drove past this place twice thinking it was a used car lot.It has the classic old time look. The decor is old yet clean. Furniture shows its wear. What AJs lacks in decor it more than makes up on food, service, prices and personality.A couple of people needed to wait. Casual comment " busy as usual"This is a place where the locals go for breakfast. So many knew each other. And the waitresses knew everyone.Service was fast, friendly, and responsive. The food was excellent. Not fast food sugary stuff.I had the pancake breakfast - 2 eggs, 2 sausage, 2 French toast. $7My wife had the Philly Cheese steak omelet ( ? ). It was excellent. Large with lots of meat and cheese. $10Return trips will be made

Our favorite home cooking diner! All the staff are wonderful, the food is amazing, southern, comfort food. Only complaint is that it stays too crowded, but there's a reason for that! Delish! Wish they were open for dinner hours!
