If you're looking for a hidden gem of an Italian restaurant in a small town, this isn't it. Menu variety is average. The wine list is short with no Italian wines, and none of the selections are particularly good. The lack of even 1 Chianti was a surprise. My wife ordered the prime rib, which was decent. I ordered the veal parmesan, only to be told it was not available, so I settled for the spaghetti and meatballs. The portions were large, but the food quality was just...
Our main course was flawless and the portions were large. Absolutely incredible meal. Service wasn’t the best but not the worst. I had to remind our server a few times about our drink order. She also hovered around a little much making small talk. A bit frustrating when you’re on a date. The restaurant overall was cozy and inviting. Had good charm and was clean. The bar area looked a bit disheveled but wasn’t off putting. I can’t wait to go back.
After watching the film ‘Best Friends Recycled’ I knew I had to check this place out. I was really impressed and see a lot of potential! I was a little disappointed there wasn’t live jazz, but the service and atmosphere were amazing. I believe the establishment is conducive to great conversation and making warm memories. I overheard some great conversations about cultural norms and expectations from a religious and ontological perspective.
