This place is comically bad. I ordered Alfredo for me and my significant other a couple weeks back and I ended up having to throw it out and order something else cause of how bad the food was. I have chalked it up to either the cook was on drugs or the cook is just insanely terrible at their job. This is the first bad review I’ve ever put on Google so that should tell you how bad this was. Not to mention the little teenage girl was very rude over the phone and in person. Gotta respect that consistency I guess. Needless to say I have ate here hundreds of times but this experience was so bad I will never be back.

Have been a resident of Crossville for many years. Brass Lantern always had excellent food, great servers and an excellent menu. Now the menu is just OK. Was charged for top shelf drink, didn’t ask for a brand name. Some items on the menu weren’t available. Wish we could go back to the old owner.

The prime rib sandwich was way overcooked and tasted like leather.

Have eaten lunch and dinner here many times. Really enjoy the black mountain burger with the house made chips for lunch. The pork chop or filet have been excellent for dinner. Try the carrot cake for dessert, you won’t be disappointed! Service is good and staff is always friendly.

The food here is SO delicious! The menus are thoughtful and inviting. Jill and her staff work very hard to make sure everyone who walks in the door feels like family. I’ve have SEVERAL excellent meals here. The whole staff really cares about your experience and it shows. Highly recommend!

I have eaten a lot of places in a lot of different states and towns. And this is absolutely the worst food I have ever eaten, actually. I can't even say because the food was so bad. That after the first bite I couldn't eat it.prime rib was completely raw. My daughter steak that was $35 was charred all the way through and completely dry. Every meal was disgusting and not edible. The only thing that was decent was the rolll and saladBus boy spilled r soad and left it didn't even try to fix clean up or apologize

The food was very dry. I ordered the catfish with the crab meat and white wine sauce and the whole thing was overcooked and it was like somebody smeared mayonnaise with a spatula on top of the crab meat. They should have put other than you heavy cream white wine sauce but even then that would be misleading because there was not a hint of white wine in the flavor. The server was very nice but it took an hour and a half to get it and everybody else's food was dry too. The server was very capable and extremely nice and very polite but I do not recommend it at all for the food. When I read white wine sauce I think of a buttery garlic and lemon white wine sauce over flavorful fish with breaded crab but it was just a dry pile of food with a smear of thick white stuff .

We drove over for their Sunday brunch. We were not disappointed. The food was delightful. I had the southern and sassy which allowed me to try their biscuits, gravy, eggs and bacon. I paired it with the sweet potato tots with caramel dipping sauce. Hubby and I are looking at our calendars to decide when we can come back.

Waited 10 minutes before anyone knew I was there. Food was hardly even warm when it came out. Waitress was friendly when she could be located.
