My wife and I are huge fans of sushi. We moved here from Nashville about a year and a half ago, and we were prepared to face the fact that high quality sushi was a thing of the past. Then we discovered this restaurant. The sushi they prepare is expertly crafted with enough variety to give anyone and everyone a roll they will fall in love with. Each roll we get is a work of art, and the little intricate designs of sauce the sushi chef adorns the plates with makes each roll we order photo-worthy. We were shocked when we first sat down in this restaurant over a year ago. And pleasantly surprised that the quality remained incredibly high on each subsequent visit. They truly rival some of our favorite sushi stops in even the largest of cities.Additionally, the service has been the best we’ve experienced in Crossville, and consistently at that. The attentive, knowledgeable, and polite wait staff coupled with the quality of food has made this, hands down, the best restaurant we have experienced in Crossville. And we have experienced virtually every restaurant here at this point. Our only wish is for the owners to expand to a larger, more modern building to give their food and service the atmosphere it deserves. After over a dozen visits (and zero disappointments in any capacity), I can say confidently that they have truly EARNED our loyalty as customers.

Once I told them about my food allergies they made sure the grill was cleaned before my food was made and even checked the condiments for me!

My son and I are regulars here (we visit sometimes up to 3-5 times a month). So much so that we have our favorite booth and our waitress pretty much knows our order by heart. I often switch between coke and unsweetened ice tea, so that is the only thing she normally has to clarify. Other than that she knows our appetizer choices, salad choice, and how we like our filet mignon cooked. The flavors are not Americanized, which means it is not overly sweet. (I haven't tried all the items that may have sugar in it, for the most part what I have ordered has not been sticky sweet). The flavors are much closer to authentic Japanese flavors than most Japanese restaurants, or Japanese fusion places we have eaten at. So this is always a pleasant surprise. We will continue to visit for as long as they are open and we are living in Crossville.IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are allergic to shellfish or seafood, just let the waitress know and the chef will prepare your meal accordingly. I happen to be allergic to both, and considering they service a ton of seafood, I have never had a reaction. (I do carry an epi-pen just in case).

My wife and I have been coming here since we first moved here in September of 2021. We were very pleased with the food, atmosphere and cost of the food. We were coming here twice a month and sometimes three times a month. We were always pleased. Due to several issues in our lives, we were not able to come here in about two and half months. We decided to go to dinner last night (Friday 23 rd of September). We were surprised by the new menu, but knowing that restaurants across our State and Country have been dealing with challenges like some have never seen before. We understood that some things have had to change. So we processed to order dinner. We had Seaweed Salad, Vegetable Tempura, 1 Spider Man Roll and 1 Mango Angel Roll. The Seaweed Salad wasn’t bad, but it lacked the flavor that we enjoyed in the past. The 2 Rolls were totally different than we have eaten here in the past. They were wrapped in what we believed was rice paper and not seaweed as they normally are wrapped in. Both were just okay in our opinion. No where near as good as in the past. The only added item was a Lime Ricky, which was nothing like the Lime Rickies that I have had, over my lifetime. Needless to say that we were very disappointed. Maybe in the future we might come back and try the food again. But it may be a lot longer than the two and a half months.PS: I must saw that reading some of the other reviews. I wondered if we had dinner at a different restaurant??? Maybe we just got the wrong cook. We will see.Paul and AnnMarie

I was trying to figure out what kind of sushi I wanted to try with my shellfish allergy and our waitress was so sweet and helpful even though they were very busy helping me find one I would like and be able to eat!

My wife and I have eaten here twice for lunch, and both experiences were exceptional. The first visit we both got shrimp bento boxes her's a tempura, and mine teriyaki. Both meals tasted great and included the shrimp, two spring rolls, miso soup, a salad (try the in house sauce), 4 pieces of California roll, and fried rice. The second time we tried the sushi. My wife had the California roll and the shrimp tempura roll, and I had the dragon roll and the king roll. We also split an order of gyoza, and I started with a bowl of mushroom soup and the squid salad. We had the same server both times (regretfully I didn't catch her name, but she is a young Asian woman with dark hair and glasses), and she was great. Very polite and attentive, and we never had to ask for a thing. All of our food came out very quickly both visits which is always appreciated. This is now our new favorite spot in Crossville, and I am sure we will be back many times in the near future.P.S. Make sure to bring a few dollars to tip the sushi chef. They do a fantastic job.Parking: Ample parking all around the building makes it easy to find a spot even at rush times.Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible with handicap parking directly in front.
