This review is based on one visit. As newbies to the Crossville area, we didn't expect to find good pizza. Uncle Grumpy's Pizzeria turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Pizzas are notoriously high in calories, and most of the calories are in the crust. That's one reason we like thin-crust pizzas. Also, they are typically more flavorful than thick-crust pizzas. Uncle Grumpy's offers a deep dish Sicilian pizza and regular thin-crust pizzas. The thin-crust version is similar to what one would find in Northern Italy. The crust has bubbles along the outside edge and is easy to eat without getting stuffed. The sauce goes better in such a crust, too. It's rare for me to give a five-star review for any restaurant, but for this one-time visit I'll make an exception. Lastly, this pizzeria has limoncello cake, which is delicious. We'll be back for another meal soon.

This is definitely a hidden gem!! Don't be deterred by the outside. It's clean and welcoming inside. The food was delicious! We had the Cheese Ziti, Chicken Alfredo and Meatball Sandwich. All was cooked well and tasted fantastic.

Great pizza, chicken parm, cajun shrimp over linguine and garlic knots. Server was great and attentive and quick. With the popularity of this place we go in the middle of the afternoon. They're going to need to expand if the word gets out how good this place is. It's small right now but doable. Plenty of room for my husband's service dog. We will definitely be back.

Just moved to the area and was looking for good pizza for take out. I found Uncle Grumpy's and decided to call in an order. Tried the meat lovers, spinach/ ricotta/garlic, and a pepperoni. All were excellent. I love a soft, thin, NY style crust, and they do it very well. Will definitely be back!!!

Uncle grumpy's pizza was very rude because I didn't give a tip because the pizza coast me $29.04 the pizza was $10.25 an I got two pizza and was told that the price was $29.04 not good people

We ordered 6 pizzas. 3 cheese and 3 pepperoni for my older son's family birthday party and this was the worst tasting pizza any of us have ever had!! We thought we would try uncle grumpy's pizza and we all absolutely regretted it!! Barely any sauce the dough was sooo saggy and oily it was nasty!! The worst 80 dollars i have ever spent. I would not recommend to anyone.

We ordered a grinder and it had no flavor and the roll was old it was falling apart and it wasn't a hot sub, I have had better ones from subway and alot less expensive won't return here.

The pizza hardly had any cheese on it and it looked like my mushrooms were an after thought and just thrown on top instead of under the cheese. The chicken wings were white with very little sauce, I had to add my own hot sauce from home. Will not be returning here to eat.
