We love Nineteen19! The food is so good! The Asian fusion of some of the dishes is a nice touch. Definitely wouldn’t expect that in The Gap. The service is always good. We’ve been patrons for years & look forward to eating there more. Also, the waffle sundae, lava cake, & crème brûlée is wonderful!

if you want to get asked to leave a nearly empty resturant, then dine here. My family was asked to leave because they "needed our table" 5 of us in an empty back room with other tables the same size as ours .... sitting empty.... the front room on our way out literally had 2 tables being used. a virtually empty restaurant and we were asked to leave because we sat at the table and talked for 15 after paying the bill. if it had been busy and a server needed the table i would have no issues. two rooms full of empty tables and they apparently needed ours. what a joke of customer service. I will never never return to this place. word of advice, dine anywhere but here

Our party of 3 stopped in here on July 4th, passing thru to Virginia. The food was REALLY good. It was 2:00pm and the food still came out tasting fresh.
I got the Honey BBQ Burger, my husband got the Philly Cheesesteak & my niece got and Unagi roll & Tuna roll. We all enjoyed our meals!!
I’m SO glad we found it and I’m so glad they were open. What a fun, unexpected find on a holiday road trip!!

Gabe’s a great BT and the lunch was amazing chicken and waffles, wife had a.spider roll and we sipped great bourbon. Just stop in it’s a must stop and close to Tazewell. You’re missing out if your pass it up.

For anyone commuting through the gap, listen. When you travel down into what feels like 80 years into the past taking a look at the infrastructure of this little area, you feel a sense of community and safety it’s so adorable. Then you find the nineteen19, and when you step into the bar you’re welcomed with beautiful Secretariat memorabilia, a gorgeous bar, and some of the best food I’ve had in awhile! The bartender was an absolute pleasure, the steak teriyaki stirfry was phenomenal and the honey BBQ burger was perfectly composed. It’s crazy impressive how great the food was, you need to stop at this place when you come through!

Atmospheric place with a broad menu - the breadth of food on offer almost turned me off. However, the cheesesteak I had was really excellent with totally fresh ingredients, the staff were professional and kind, and the Hawaiian bread pudding I had for dessert was fantastic.

We had an amazing experience for lunch yesterday! The food was wonderful and the service was fantastic!! Probably the best food we’ve ever had. I had the chicken stir fry, my husband had the Wagyu burger, and my son had the salmon bowl (sub fries).. We were greeted by the manager/owner personally and he treated us so well and made us feel comfortable having young children with our group - even offered to buy our son dessert! ❤️ Even though our group was a little late and stayed a while we didn’t feel rushed or that the workers were upset with us. (I apologize for that though!) Our server, Stephen, was so friendly, upbeat & kept our drinks refilled and was just amazing! Thank you all for the wonderful experience! ☺️
