“The coffee could be a little stronger but they have a ton of varieties and the atmosphere is great! The baked goods can be hit or miss. Overall though it's worth stopping in!”
“Pool $1 per game. Laid back atmosphere weekdays. Monday night karaoke, trivia night. Crowded weekends after 10. College students and locals, and tourists to Cumberland Ga and the National Park”
“This is a late review which is my mistake they deserved it day of.We was in Tennessee on oct 27&28 on vacation and found this place by luck so glad we did ended up eating here and having some drinks on Friday night talked with some really nice folks enjoyed it so much we came back on Saturday and same folks was there again coming to find out that they was staying there. Angelo's has a airbnb above it went up watched football with them it's a extremely nice place we have a trip booked back again in February this time will be staying in Angelo's airbnb highly recommend for food comfort and beautiful townParking: The street was pretty open when we arrived but got busy towards late afternoon but still was spots available”
“Very fast service! By the time you're seated, a server is already pouring a cup of water or asking you if you want coffee. It's definitely an in and out place. I enjoyed their coffee and omelette. It was good buck for your money. Big portions. Think of old times diners.”
“Delicious salmon w/bourbon sauce. The owner frequented our table to be sure everything was good. Very enjoyable dinner. We highly recommend Shades. The MN Lawler's”
“I thought that place wasn't big enough for dine-in, but there's plenty of room. Chairs, tables, restrooms. Don't know if the restrooms were clean or not , because we went in and placed a carry out order. The employee that greeted us, answered any questions that I had. The only problem I had was that our chips from the nacho platter I got was soggy and so was the tortilla from the burrito that I ordered”
“Ordered the Spicy Southwestern Salad and hated that they've quit shredding the chicken. Instead, it was just big chunks that had to be cut up. Hope they go back to shredded!”
“Small place but great food! One of the best cheeseburgers ever.A lady came up to our car to take our orders. She was very friendly. Mom got the grilled chicken sandwich which she said was very tender and delicious. The tots were great also.”
“This is our new favorite spot - delicious coffee - delicious sandwiches - reasonable prices and the employees are all super nice ! I highly recommend this amazing ”
“I love this place. What I get every time is called a steak hibachi. It's served with fried rice, seasoned steak chunks, and sauteed veggies like carrot and zucchini. I also ask them for no onions with mine, so they will accommodate you. Finally, they have the absolute best yum yum sauce. No joke, I could just drink theirs, it's that good. You get one 2oz cup with your order, but you can buy more. Oh and they do sell sushi. This location is down 19th Street, and it's on your left at first light if coming from Cumberland Ave. It's the old Libbis place, next door to the fire department and Jeff's pharmacy.Vegetarian options: There are some vegetarian items, but not a lot.Parking: The only issue with parking that I have is there's some pot holes close to the road. Otherwise no problems with parking.Kid-friendliness: It's really neutral, guess. I mean kids are safe there. There is nothing to harm them, but there isn't anything there for them to play with or on.Wheelchair accessibility: There isn't any ramp, but there is only a small step up.”
“I Absolutely Love This Restaurant ? The Best Food,Ever! I love everything they have my absolute favorite is the Chicken Lomein! Fried Wontons! If you are ever in Middlesboro,My,Swing by here! Give Them a Try! You will not regret it!! Thank you so much and God Bless you and your family! , Jennifer Matlock”
“Totally awesome!!! The atmosphere is fantastic and talk about exactly what this area needs!!! We're still here and already we are making plans to come back!Kid-friendliness: Super awesome for kids!!! Board games, video games, Wii, Atari, SO COOL!!!!”
“Very good coffee, I especially love how many sugar free options are offered here. It really makes the place stand-out from other local spots. Staff are friendly. Only complaint is that it is a bit expensive.”
“This place doesn't exactly stand out, but the food is amazing. I live in fl. Have eaten at plenty of Mexican restaurants. The flavor was on point. Would definitely recommend.”
“Just went in last week to try some pulled pork again and it was BETTER than ever! It was lean and juicy with wonderful flavor! The interior has been updated with digital menus and a spot to watch the game. The sauce is the same, sweet, spicy, delectable sauce it's always been. I was very pleased. I bought a pound just for me lol to eat on through the week. Reheating tip for optimal juiciness: place your portion in a microwave safe bowl, add a tbsp of butter, a drizzle of your fave bbq sauce (definitely their sweet bbq), cover with plastic wrap and microwave for 1 minute. Uncover, stir, place on your face toasted bun, and ENJOY! The total included a bottle of their sauce so it was about $30 which ultimately cost me $6 for a bangin sandwich and side of chips per meal. Without sauce it would cost about $19 for the pound of pulled pork. :)Parking: Parking is located behind Hardees.”
“We stopped at this place yesterday after hours of driving and having eaten nothing all day. While my girlfriend and I were starving we wanted good food, and good food we found!! What an awesome location , friendly service and tasty sandwiches that were served. 10/10 recommend for anybody passing through!”
“Very quick service. The food was hot and delicious.Parking: Large parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is on the first floor, easy for wheelchairs.”
“Wonderful place to eat and Samuel and his staff/family are very friendly and helpful. One of our favorite places to eat in this area. The BEST salsa and a GREAT place to find tamales.”
“I LOVE this place! The ingredients in Mackies signature cream shaved ice is always fresh and the cream is perfect;. So if you are looking for a refreshing summer treat that is reminiscent of a regional favorite; snow cream; Mackie's is a must try.”
“My husband and I have been here several times - Every time we come in we are immediately greeted with friendly smiles and welcoming hellos ! Presentation is everything and both our sandwiches always look amazing ! Reasonable prices , delicious sandwiches and friendly employees- I highly recommend this subway ! We actually stopped going to subway a few years ago as the sandwiches were not good at all and the employees had sour attitudes but after physical therapy next door we decided to give this subway a try as we just moved here from out of state and I'm so happy we did --- this is the best sandwich shop around !!! Again, I highly recommend this subway”
“Rodney's is a great little sside stop for food, large parking, picnic tables and great food. The pork sandwich is tender and juicy. Ample portions for sure! Stop in and check for yourself, you will not be disappointed!”
“Pelanchos's is the best restaurant in Middlesboro and my favorite Mexican restaurant on the planet. I eat Mexican in almost every town I spend any time in and so far, no one beats their food and service. Their servers are top notch and are always willing to go the extra mile for their customers. The owner, Mario, is usually always there and is always super nice and always has a smile on his face. If you haven't, try it out and thank me later.”
“Nice place with great service. There was no wait at 6:30. The menu is 4 pages long so it took us a few minutes to decide what we wanted. I had the Nachos Supreme and my husband got a ribeye. The nachos had ground beef and shredded turkey and beans, lettuce, tomato and cheese. They were delicious!! My husband's steak was a little over cooked but he said the flavor was good. We got a bowl of queso dip also and our bill was just under $30.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps to enter the restaurant and none inside also.”
“Everything was amazing!!! Food was spectacular. Waitresses were so nice! Owner came up himself and made sure everything was good ❤️ this is our new favorite spot!!! And the live music was amazing aswell!!!”
“Quite a few interesting options on the menu, but we had a simple pizza, it was awesome.Server was very attentive, very well kept establishmentThank you, we'll definitely be back.”
“The best service I've ever had. It is tr7ly a drive in. As soon as I pulled up staff appeared at my car window to take my order and brought it to me about 3 minutes later. The salad was good and the order was correct. Thanks for a very good experience.”
“Awesome service.. The food was good and it didn’t take long to get. The waitress was attentive and she made sure we was good on everything. The owner (who also works most the time) is the sweetest person. She’s always smiling and treats everyone as family.”
“The food is usually pretty good, but the folks that work there usually make it a pretty mundane experience, because they are usually negative and never have a good word for their customers.”
“I had the wagyu cheeseburger and it was pretty spot on. Big ole burger pattie cooked medium as ordered, had a nice, mildly charred flavor, and the bun was big and burly enough to hold everything together for the duration. The fries were good, too. The staff was very friendly and attentive, the atmosphere nice and cozy, and the price reasonable. Def worth the drive from Ktown, especially with a Cumberland Gap area hike thrown in.”
