They offer a triple scoop - i asked what that's like, and the server said "we've never actually done one yet". Lol.Support local business and go here”

“My wife and granddaughter plus myself thought we'd try this place out....we wrecked it.I'm used to chimichanga being cool or lukewarm...this one was actually hot and the sides were tasty and fresh....no hard rice and greasy beans.My wife and granddaughter had the steak fajita. Granddaughter is very picky with steak...she loved this one. The entire selection of veggies, meat and sides were hot and had a really good flavor.Our server was kind, attentive and friendly.... We'll be goin back, for sure.”

“We had the crispy fish sandwich. I get them often on their visit during the year. I wish they were a normal staple. The fish is crispy, flaky and mouth watering! I also had a roast beef slider that was excellent, with a touch of Arby sauce and horsey sauce.”

“Hamburger hut is a staple in Barbourville! It’s one of the last places around to get a real hamburger patty. The staff is friendly and the bring the food out to your car. Prices are going up everywhere, while what you get is pretty good. The price seems a little high. It does not stop me from going back though.”

“I have been to many DQ's and this one has to be the #1 in food and cleanliness. Food is always fresh and taste excellent, lot's of friendly staff and always with a smile. I have eaten at this location many, many times and never had bad experience. My favorite is the FlameThrower burger, just perfect to give you a kick. If you are ever in Barbourville make sure you eat at this DQ, promise you won't be disappointed.”

“Really an Awesome resturant! When you can get ahold of them..it's hit and miss. If your call gets answered. I honestly try to order from them every weekend.. But I can only get an actual answer once in four weeks. Not sure what the issue is. But something is jacked up.”

“Upon calling this place for delivery, the woman that we talked to over the phone was more than polite. After ordering our dinner it arrived in less than 30 minutes which is awesome and it was still hot so it was kept fresh which is really good. The delivery woman was beyond nice to us. I would chose this place again for my dinner in the future just because the food is great and the employees are polite and know how to take care of their customers better than any place I have ever seen so far for take out.”

“Usually a really good place to eat. This was probably just a fluke. Made it a point to specifically order a #1 and fries with no salt so it would be fresh. It was freshly made. Just made the wrong sandwich altogether. It was still good.”

“I had not eaten LJS in many years so wanted to try it again. There was nothing priced comparably to other restaurants. I figured at least the chicken planks would be cheaper. I got the two piece fish meal and was so greasy I had to sop it up with a napkin to make it palatable. I know this is typical because I remember as a kid eating more chicken than fish at LJS because the fish upset my stomach. I see no reason to go back. Captain D's has a broader menu and the fish doesn't bother my stomach.”

“I’ve came here for a while now and can say from personal experience the reviews for this place are false sure at the start of this place it was a bit slow but I came in ordered a whole big lot and got my food in less then 30 minutes much props to this place and the workers ”

“I gave 5 stars for atmosphere because the drive-thru personnel were great!It's probably the best fast food burrito I've had in recent months. I wanted something quick and got a bean burrito with only cheese. It was hot, wrapped well, and was not greasy.Not everyone likes bean burritos, so there is that.
