Angelo’s in the Gap has always been a favorite but the last couple of visits have been very disappointing. No one meets you when you come in and you have to awkwardly stand there just waiting for someone to notice you’re even there. On Valentine’s Day there was a man at the front desk who even acted like it was a bother to even acknowledge. Was finally seated and waited but no one ever came to our table so finally just left. The chicken Alfredo was out of this world. I'm from Wisconsin and appreciate good cheese. The sauce was flavored to perfection. The service was wonderful. My only complaint is that I live too far away.
We popped in Angelo’s today after hiking up to the tri-state peak. We were welcomed by a bar full of locals and had the best time! The restaurant wasn’t open because of a deep cleaning day, but the staff fired up the pizza oven anyway and talk about a GOOD pizza. 10/10 recommend!!!
