My wife and I went there last night 1/29/26. The food did not taste fresh as it has in the past. The popcorn shrimp was good but the fantail shrimp my wife got tasted old, almost freezer burnt. Our onion rings were burnt. The waitress did bring another order out for us to share. We always order from the senior menu. They have raised their prices and now that same meal we always get is almost 8 dollars more with both of us drinking water, no charge for the drinks. We had to get another waiter to bring our ticket as our waitress went awol! Needless to say we will not be going back anytime soon.

All of the seafood is frozen and doesn't taste like seafood at all. My oysters had more breading than oysters. The oysters themselves must have been about the size of a dime. The building us very old and needs a remodel. One person wouldn't even order seafood due to three quality. She ordered steak bites instead. They didn't look good either. I would skip this one...

Second time coming, first was yesterday!!! Had to come back, because I woke up actually dreaming about their hush puppy's!! Amazing food, I had chicken tenders yesterday, steak tips today. ( not really a seafood person) Husband had oysters and catfish, everything was fantastic! We plan on trying everything on the menu, our servers were both amazing, didn't get the first ones name, today's was Tya, and I'd adopt her if I could! Definitely a 5 star place!

I have eaten at the Galley probably around 7 to 10 times over the years; I have never had bad food. Service is good and restaurant is clean. I had the 12 oz Ribeye with Blackened Salmon and loaded potato...wife had Crab Legs (of course). Kids love the popcorn shrimp and okra. We all left full with no room for desert. Highly recommend you stop by when in Dandridge.
