They were short staffed. Tried their best but didn't really work out well. Burger was below average, but the fries were great. The view was ok. The lake is down and there wasn't much activity.

Lovely place will be back again soon!! Recommended for kids also, they'll love the safari animals... And the waitress are very polite!

The sign outside read "Fire Lake Grill". Google said that we were at "Cowboys Seafood". They are located above an active dock. The views were...... nice. The parking lot is small-ish making it difficult to maneuver in coming off of a 2 lane road - and is shared with the dock.We initially weren't sure that they were open as there was no one to greet you until you walked half-way into the restaurant. The sign asked us to be patient as they were (are!!) short staffed! They were out of several appetizers - which was disappointing, but I don't think it had anything to do with being "short staffed".The food was "not memorable".... which is interesting since the Jalapeños cheese soup was very good! The reason for the 2 stars?- Out of Appetizers- Menu with hand written price changes that were not clear and rubbing off.- Main issue: There were customers - seated 2 tables away from us - that were on their speaker phone, talking loudly and laughing for over 30 minutes! The server (seemed to be thrown into the role from the kitchen?), while knowledgeable about the menu - he whispered "sorry" when I looked over at the RUDE table as he brought our drinks. He didn't seem willing to ask them to be considerate of their other customers and SHUT UP!We won't be back.

It is not called Cowboy's anymore, they were short staffed but the food was absolutely delicious and our server was so sweet. We enjoyed our experience and my family talked about the food and how good it was long after we left.

1st time eating here. Good catfish and french fries...coleslaw was drab..no flavor, sweet tea was good. Waitress was also friendly. Would definately reccomend. You can also look out at the lake while you eat.

The servers ignored us and waited on everyone else first. The food was ok. Nice lake view.

We ordered our steaks medium and they were well well done. Tough as rubber. I could have used them for tires to drive back to VA.

Location is the key here. Food is good. Service is slow due to not being able to staff completely. So go when your are not in a hurry and enjoy the view. Sit back relax.

This is now Fire Lake. Really great place. Views of Douglas Lake are fabulous.

We went back and this is a really good place to eat. The food is fresh cooked. A lot of places have food made in a central kitchen and delivered in 5 gallon buckets. Their food is really good.

The service was excellent, the food was great and the view was lovily. If you see the billboard on the highway and turn, it is kind of a long way to get there (maybe a 10 minute ride). But the drive to it is scenic and the overall experience was lovily.

This place has the best fried shrimp and catfish I've ever tasted! Next week we're going back and having the scallops and blackened snapper. The only place I can find locally that has fresh seafood.

Amazing food, service & view. The filet mignon & seafood platter was prepared perfectly. We're visiting from Illinois & this was our 2nd time we've been there... we'll be back ?
