Today is New Years Day and the menu was terrible. I mean who puts hotdogs and hamburgers on a buffet bar. Didn’t have a lot to choose from really and some of it was cold/dry. I should’ve looked at what they were serving before ordering drinks first. They even bring out dirty plates and serve them at the bar for others to use. It’s quite sad honestly and I won’t be back. Golden Corral will be my choice next family buffet outing.

This was a pleasant find! A lot of this shoney's from back in the day have closed and I stumbled on this one when I was looking for a place to get hot soup their beef stew was delicious! But while I was there I decided to have the buffet and take the soup home. The buffet consisted of both lunch and breakfast items which was a surprise and very much enjoyed. The people there were very kind and courteous and I was in and out in no time with a full belly, and some tasty soup for later.

My husband and I just arrived for the night after driving all day. We walked across the road from the Holiday Inn. The staff was very welcoming even for our take out order! The food was delicious; All American Burger with Baked Potato and Fried Chicken sandwich with Fries. Burger cooked perfectly with a little char on the outside. Restaurant was clean and inviting. Will go again when traveling through.
This is one of my favorite Shoneys. The food is always fresh and prepared excellent. The staff are genuinely friendly
