We had a wonderful waitress but we had a super long wait for food. Tables that came in after us were getting their food before us. Our waitress offered us rolls while we waited. She later came out as we were eating our meal and informed us that her manager was making her charge us for the extra rolls. She offered to pay for them with her tip money. No way was I going to take her tip money but I do think it is very bad practice to do these things especially when it was the kitchen's fault our food was delayed. Overall the food was not good and was kinda flavorless. The only bright spot was the kind waitress.

We did love eating the food here until last night when I was horrified at how the manager and the owner was talking to a lady that was telling them that her food was brought out a hour after her friends at the table had came and it was not done nor even what she asked for. They basically said it was her fault they don't guarantee how any of their food is cooked and the waitress is new so deal with it!!! I will never step back I to this place nor will I continue to refer people to it. Having over Twenty Million people that look at my photos and reviews on Google I do not want to have anyone to be treated as if they are not welcome anywhere. There are way to many places in this area that has better food and by far better atmosphere. For sure managment that would care about their customers and anyone that was done wrong waitress or customer!!!! If I could put less then a star I sure would just by the terrible attitude of manager and owner.

I came to eat at this restaurant tonight. I ordered the NY strip steak, salad & loaded baked potato. I had to wait an hour after my friends got their well done steaks to get mine. Then it wasn't well done so I had to send it back. My baked potato was plain so I had to ask for the stuff to make it loaded, she only brought bacon bits. They charged me an extra $1 for that. When we got ready to leave I asked for a manager, the lady said she was. So I explained what happened & was only asking they take the $1 off. She was rude, blamed me said I ordered well done so that's why it took so long. Then blamed the waitress & said she was new. Then a man came out asking what's the problem- he was the owner. He said well like it didnt matter.They didn't care about their customers. The worst customer service & management was even worse. I won't be back to this restaurant & I actually liked their food before this experience tonight. Be aware they said their menu states they dont guarantee how food is cooked. So apparently medium or well done is just a suggestion ? ?

Seated at kitchen entrance while many tables were vacant. Served appetizer on saucers and appeared after the salads were eaten. Two entrees came before the appetizer. Entres were at best mediocre. Last 2 entres came after half the dining party finished theirs. One party member decided to take their entre home since it was so late being delivered!We’ve eaten at every restaurant in town and would rate our experience at Taste of DANDRIDGE as bizarre!

Came here pretty much on a random road trip to eat at a restaurant we'd never been to before--and it was a great pick. We had the Saturday pulled pork special and the steak bites with sweet potato fries--so very good. We'll definitely be back again.

Unexpected stop at this restaurant. Pleasantly surprised! Had the Monday special, pork chops. Everything was good. I didn’t care for type of vinegar in the slaw (just my not my preference). Price was good. Personnel were fantastic. Will eat here again on next trip.

My mother and I just moved to Dandridge and decided to give this restaurant a try and let me tell you, we were very pleasantly surprised at how amazing the food was! I got the twins filets and those were the absolute best steaks I have ever eaten in my life! My mom's chicken tenders were so tender and juicy and the breading on them was just the right amount of crunchy.. not super hard breading like most places have. All the sides that came with both dishes were delicious also. We also got two slices of the 7 layer chocolate sin cake which were huge for the price we paid for them and also to die for! I have no complaints about the food or service whatsoever but I was a little upset to find out that they do charge a $3.24 charge on top of your bill if u decide to pay with a card instead of cash. I don't understand why businesses are starting to do this policy.. makes no sense to me since everyone pays with plastic these days:/ great places to eat though:)
