Hands down one of the best restaurants in Franklin County. We recently moved to Shelbyville, and have to make a trip to Decherd every now and then just to eat here. The food is always amazing, and Miss Betty is as sweet as can be. I would recommend going as soon as she opens at 11am because the food goes FAST, and understandably so. Very good fried chicken. Great prices. Very quaint diner. They have a buffet style lunch daily. They do post the menu online, it changes every day. The buffet was 8.50 and that included tea, and a dessert. I went on Monday, and they had fried chicken, potatoes, fried okra, salmon patties, Mac and cheese, and sun drop cake. It was very good, and a steady stream of business. They are only open 11-2pm for lunch.
If you can waste money at McDonald's and eat food that's not good for you.then you need to come here and order the buffet or special dinner plate of your choice from my aunt's restaurant. ? Dinner ?️Parking: Not much parking...but worth the crowd rush ...
