“We spent three nights at the Lakeside Inn last month celebrating my milestone 80th birthday, a long-awaited getaway. The Wildwood staff were exceptionally friendly, and our stay was overall an enjoyable one. However, at check-out, we became convinced that we had experienced a kind of “bait-and-switch” transaction. We first attempted to make our reservation online, but there were problems (likely Granville weather-related) with the website, so we called and made the reservation by phone. The prices posted online for the Lakeside Inn were substantially different both for weekdays and weekends and also for rooms facing the water and rooms facing the road (more than 20%). We chose the less expensive weekday rate posted online, and, of course, assumed that was the rate we were being charged, but not so. We dealt with three different employees, one to make the reservation, one at check-in, and a third at check-out. We did not ever receive an email, text, or “snail mail” confirmation of our reservation, and first noticed the significant price discrepancy when we received our credit card statement for the 1/3 required deposit. We were told at check-out that we had misunderstood the posted pricing, but that absolutely is not the case. If the call was, indeed, recorded, every one of these facts will be confirmed. We are both handicapped, and there is no handicapped-accessible parking for the Lakeside Inn. There are instead almost-never-used re-charging stations for electric cars where handicapped spaces should be. Also, we must mention that our very important sleeping request -- that our king room be converted to two twins -- was never honored. And there was only one sitting chair in our room for two people, so we brought in a rocker from the porch each evening for reading and winding down from the day, an heroic accomplishment for these 80-year oldsters. Summary: Charge only the clearly posted, agreed-upon website prices, no switching after the fact. Send a reservation confirmation immediately. Honor the important option, as advertised, for two twin-sized beds for those requiring that sleeping arrangement. Provide accessible handicapped parking for those of us who must use a cane and walker. Provide at least two chairs in a room for two.”

“The new owners and staff have really outdone themselves. The new menu is phenomenal. Everything tastes fresh and the new items that are not at any other mexican resturant around are absolutely amazing. Highly recommend the bubba shrimp bowl. Its a 10 out of 10 everytime. There is so much more to choose from for even the pickiest eaters like my children. Service is fast no matter how full the resturant is, the waiters and owner are constantly coming through checking on everyone and the prices are unbeatable. Its gonna be hard for any other mexican restaurants to top this one now.”

“I had a torta. It could have used more meat, but I noticed only breakfast menus were out. So, maybe I jumped the gun. Service was lightning fast. More authentic/taco truck-type fare than what is typically available in the area. I am just glad we finally have a place that has the creamy/spicy salsa verde. I hope to try some caldo or menudo next time.”

“I just had the best sandwich from Subway I've ever had in my life. No joke. I don't know if it was like the little crispy stuff to put on the sandwiches. Now that you can request. Of course it had to do something with a sandwich maker. Maybe I got the Mayo and vinegar mixture. Perfect. I don't know but I literally just got the best sandwich I've ever had from Subway. “Food was very good. Ground beef tacos were not greasy. Salsa had the bite I liked. Chips very fresh. Pico was fresh and very well made. Was hesitant to eat here after hearing some people say that it wasn't good.”

“Drive through, moved quickly. Biscuits, maple biscuits and coffee. Over $10. Just wanted to sample the maple biscuits...they're ok. Would like to have the original cinnamon raisin biscuits back.”

“My family loves Taco Bell. We drive thru often, and the staff often talk to my smiling heeler pup. (Until he barks. 😆) They do a great job and fix their occasional mistakes pleasantly (be sure to check your orders before you drive home so you don't have to go too far and come back). We use the app to order ahead and get rewards.”

“I am amazed at how consistent this McDonald’s is at getting an order accurate and quality being good. The drive through team is polite, fast, accurate and efficient. This store must have exceptional management and exceptional employees. I have probably been there 40 times in the last year and it is a great store. I’m in retail and we sometimes only get reviews when people are upset once in a while so I thought I owe it to you to give you great feedback when it is deserved. Thank you for being so professional. I rate this place 5 stars but I’m not sure how to do that with actual stars on Facebook.”

“I also come here and order on my phone, because it's a lot easier to order what I want. I have to say, this location is excellent. I'll have my food ordered, and I'll be sitting there for about 5 mintues, and my food is out and ready. They do a pretty good job here, unlike the location in Lebanon off by the Square, over on West Main Street. Don't go to the one on West Main Street in Lebanon. This one here in Carthage next to Walmart is awesome. The only thing I don't like are the higher prices here, compared to going to McDonald's on off of Highway 25, but that's nothing to worry about.”
