King G's Pizza Reviews
Oh my heart! We have been here over 5 years in Dunlap. We never get out much, but today we spoiled ourselves! King G’s is the bomb!!! Food fantastic! Service Fantastic! Others walking in said… hamburgers are the best! We don’t go out to eat because we hate paying for something I can cook better at home! WE ATE NOT DISAPPOINTED!! Thank you King G’s!! We will be back to try your burgers! Had the specialty pizza NOT DISAPPOINTED!! Blessings.
This was an average Tennessee pizza place. It’s not great, but not terrible by any means. My kids wouldn’t eat the dough it was pretty floppy and doughy. But the cheese and sauce was decent. The calzone was pretty solid. Also pretty doughy on the inside. Top of it seemed good, bottom was just a few steps above raw. But the flavors overall were solid. Veggies were good, cheese was good. Just a lil doughy.
Mozzarella sticks were the weakest link in the order. Didn’t...read full review

King G's Pizza offers a mix of good and average food, with some standout features. The crust is made from scratch and is always golden and crisp, setting it apart from chain options like Little Caesars or Domino’s. While the cheese and sauce on the pizza are decent, some reviews mention that the dough can be doughy and floppy, especially on the calzone, which is also quite doughy inside and slightly undercooked at the bottom. Despite this, the flavors are generally solid, with good vegetables and cheese. The pizza's toppings are generous, and the flavor is satisfying, making it a popular choice for pizza lovers.
In addition to pizza, King G's serves other items like calzones, mozzarella sticks—which some find flavorless—and salads with fresh toppings. The salad bar is praised for being fresh and plentiful, with options to add grilled or fried chicken for a hearty meal. The burger is noted for being made with real ground beef, hand-patted daily, and is considered one of the best in town.
Prices are fair, with a large pizza, calzone, and appetizer costing around $30, and subs priced around $20. Special deals like buy one get one free and other specials add good value, though some feel the prices have increased since discounts were removed.
Overall, King G's Pizza is a decent spot for pizza and more, with friendly service, a relaxed atmosphere, and a focus on fresh, made-from-scratch ingredients. It’s a place that offers good food with room for improvement in dough and service consistency.
