our waitress was an older woman and she had a really bad attitude with us, when we didn’t even do anything. i work in fast food and would never give someone a bad attitude like that, and this woman is twice my age. it’s outrageous.

Not hot at all. Salsa tasted like tomato paste. Prices were reasonable but not worth what you got. Got my margarita wrong first, there's a difference between strawberry and Mango. If you're looking for a kick, this is not your place. Byo salsa.

I absolutely love everyone here ! They are like family to me at this point ! We go every Sunday and sometimes more. The whole staff knows us and knows our orders and preferences. I love going to Los Portales every week !

They have remodeled. It looks great inside. The food is hot and very yummy. The service is fast and consistent. I do recommend this restaurant. It's great for 2 people or for groups.

Not bad at all, not the best location, either. The service was excellent but honestly the Fajitas Texacanos left the palate a little unsatisfied, the bacon was good but the chicken was super dry and stringy and there were more onions than anything with the veggies.

When you go to a Mexican restaurant and see actual Hispanic people working there, you think it is probably going to be pretty good. When you see actual Hispanic people eating there, you know it is going to be excellent. That is what happened here today, and the place was fire! I loved the atmosphere. There was no wait time to be seated. Our waiter was there immediately after we were seated and came back with the perfect glass of sweet tea quickly. I really needed that to happen if ya know what I mean. 😉 They had what looked like a decent bar as well, but I rarely drink anymore, so I didn't order anything. I did see a really nice-looking Margarita on the way to the table. While I happily munched on the chips and salsa (😉 😉 again), our waiter took our order, kept the tea glasses full, and before long, he was back with the food. I don't stray too far from the normal, so I had the Enchilada Supremas. This dish was even better than I hoped it would be. It was flavorful with the perfect amount of lettuce and sour cream. The tomato was what tomatoes are now, mainly garnish, so I didn't eat that. It was a slice, not chopped, so it was easy to remove. I topped everything with some of the salsa. *chef's kiss Perfection, even the bean one, my least favorite enchilada. My husband had the Beef Enchiladas with rice and beans, his go-to. He said they were fantastic. Best meal I've had outside the house in a while. Great service, awesome food, at what I considered a great price. Check this place out if you find yourself in Dyersburg and want some really good Mexican food. Don't forget to tip these folks! It's Christmas!
