We ate here 11/18 at about 3 o'clock. The service was great. The BBQ was great...didn't even need sauce. The fries were perfectly cooked and the slaw was pretty good too. There's a guitar there so I grabbed it up and plunked along until our food came. Overall a great place..
Big Dan's had shown a deliberate disrespect for some of the true ladies in our area. . .
Seems his business model is to bully everyone those competing against him into submission instead of providing a better product and atmosphere. . .

We stopped by Big Dan’s on our way home to Virginia. We came in a little late, but we’re still greeted with fast, friendly service. The barbecue was delicious! They had a wide variety of sauces to choose from - my favorite was Eastern NC! I had the collard greens and my family had fries and Mac and cheese. All were very good. We will definitely be back!
