Wonderful local coffee shop. Had a delicious bagel breakfast sandwich - tasty Asiago bagel with a special mustard sauce (just enough to give it a unique flavor). The deal roast coffee was stellar. It is nice to see that local businesses in Erwin are gearing back up to speed after Hellene.

Best coffee shop experience we’ve had since moving to TN. We travel a fair bit and always make coffee stops a priority. Portland and Seattle have amazing coffee and I would say that Steel Rails ranks right up there with them.

We stopped by this charming coffee shop while leaving Tennessee on our way to Miami, wanting to support a local business instead of going to Starbucks—and it was the best decision we made! My sons enjoyed delicious hot cocoa, my husband loved his spiced latte, and I treated myself to a dirty chai paired with a heavenly cinnamon bun. Everything was absolutely amazing!
The cozy atmosphere and the heartwarming, friendly staff made the experience even more special. It’s a shame we don’t have a spot like this in Miami 🥲. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by—you won’t regret it!
