It's not Scotties anymore. It's a small Mexican restaurant. Food is just bland, nothing special. Pepos is the best Mexican in the area hands down.

If I could rate this unprofessional restaurant a 0 I definitely would. I did not like the taste of one of the menu items. I was still charged for two meals after I had no knowledge of knowing I will be charged twice. After asking why I was charged twice I was told “NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH IT, YOU JUST DIDNT LIKE IT” In such a rude tone.

Plenty of new offerings since the folks at Don Armandos bought this place. I ordered the Carne Asada street tacos and the taste was spot on. They had plenty of onion, cilantro , and lime to go along with them.

I have followed these restaurant owners from Athens to Etowah since their fire a while back. I love their Mexican food and my favorite is their fish tacos ? I am told by people who are from the other side of the US where Taco Trucks originated , that these are right on point with the best! Their food is fixed with love and a smile, and I hate they are displaced from Athens, but I am glad they are still able to deliver some of my favorite dishes!!4/2/22The Reuben sandwich is one of the tastiest you will find! And if you are a cheesecake fan, grab the Chimichanga Cheesecake. You will not be disappointed.

On our way to Atl off highway 411 we decided to stop at this diner. The place on a sunday afternoon was fairly busy. We managed to get a spot on the patio on a cold afternoon. This diner has both southern cuisine and some Mexican options. We ordered boneless wings and shrimp fajitas. What really stood out was the fresh home cooked flavor. They apparently make their own sauces from home grown peppers. The habanero sauce with pineapple was amazing. We actually liked the wings so much that we ordered another to go. The whole experience was so good and we rarely give 5 stars. Very friendly staff.

Since getting new owners in 2021, I have enjoyed breakfast here multiple times and now lunch. The omelets are wonderful, especially with the green avocado sauce. Today I tried their boneless wings for the first time and they were without a doubt the best I have ever tasted.I’ve also had their hot chocolate once and it was wonderful! Love the food and the awesome service ?
