I read through a lot of the reviews and was shocked by the one star reviews. Marvin’s is a welcoming restaurant for everyone. We love to see so many people from every background come together and enjoy polite conversations and some of the finest food available in the area. We drive 40 minutes one way, every week. Staff is as down home charming as you can get. 5 stars only because they won’t let me do six.
Our first time eating at Marvin's and Terry made us feel very welcome. The food was very good and the service was exceptional.

A good selection of food and desserts. If you don’t find anything you want then you weren’t hungry to begin with. We come here every year when we are in town for The Jack in Lynchburg.
