I've ate at quite a few BBQ restaurants in my life, but Rick's by far is the most disappointing. Depending on the day, the BBQ is either completely bland and tasteless, or so over smoked and over seasoned that it'll make you sick to your stomach! The chicken strips are no larger than the french fries that they are served with, and they're so dry it's like eating chicken jerky. And also ridiculously overpriced! The baked potatoes are barely larger than a baseball and are likewise way overpriced. All the portions are extremely small and not worth what you pay for them! The staff is primarily high school kids that have no idea what customer service is. I honestly have no idea how the Fayetteville TN location stays in business...

Would love to eat at Rick's more but if you're going to charge pretty much a dollar for every sauce that people ask for then maybe make sure that you actually put the sauces that you made them pay extra for in the bag the last six times we have ate there in the past 6 months to a year every single time will get family meals usually like just go through and get barbecue for dinner and I always pay anywhere from 6:00 to $10 extra for sauces cuz I have kids that all like different things and majority of the time there will be absolutely no sauces in the bag whatsoever and that's fun when you drive 20 minutes home which is how far we live from there and you go to eat barbecue and I'll just say it Rick's BBQ is extremely dry you need sauce but you get all the way home and you're feeding a family of six and there are not one sauce in your bag or like this last time all I asked for and paid extra for was mild and white sauce mostly mild I got like four extra miles and two extra white sauce we get all the way home and there is some weird sauce that's called a number that we've never heard of that we didn't ask for and five Rick sauces that we've never had didn't ask for so again a large family pack of barbecue and a $13 thing of chicken so that there's a choice between pork or chicken for everybody get all the way home with all that food and again no barbecue sauce we got sauce just absolutely no barbecue sauce not what we paid for and they get annoyed if you ask and this last time I specifically asked before I left with the food you did put all of the sauces in there and she said yeah and she's like you can feel them here in the bag and I could I could feel them in the bag but none of them were any of the sauces any of us asked for or paid for

I went here with a co-worker on a business trip. I let my co-worker pick. The food was awesome! I got the shredded chicken on a loaded baked potato. This place hit all of the marks.
Good food and good prices. I definitely recommend going here to eat

Stopped at Ricks in Fayetteville. As we set down to eat an older man fell in the parking lot.Myself and another lady helped his grandson get him up and inside. He had many cuts and abrasions. To make this shorter not one of the staff asked if he was ok, or if they could help. What they did do was bring out a blank paper and asked him if he would sign his name on it. It was some kind of fall report. His grandson refused for him. The girl said it had happened before and the person had signed it. The man was in his 90’s. Then I guess it was a manager came out and told him to sign it. Again they refused. I have always ate and Ricks in Murfreesboro and stop frequently when I go through Fayetteville. After seeing how this poor man was treated. (No concern for him at all). I doubt if I can ever eat at Rick’s again.

My husband drove 1 hour round trip to buy a pork rib plate. I have been ill and not cooking. Arrived home with chicken tenders. Very disappointed!
