The food at Bawarchi is the best Indian food I've had in Nashville. My favorite was the boneless chicken biryani which was so similar in taste to my favorite spot in Bangalore, India. Definitely satisfied the craving! I also cannot say enough about the service here - the staff are so friendly, polite, and thoughtful. I visited with a couple friends to celebrate a birthday - they brought over pastries, cupcakes, and played happy birthday on their speakers! Excited to come back again.

We ordered three dishes and they arrived so beautifully arranged. But the taste was superb, and we had to take home lots, because the portions were so large. The sauces were loaded with chicken! It was an amazingly flavorful and delicious meal.

Hands down the best Indian food we have ever eaten and we have traveled many places. We had bone in chicken biryani and boneless biryani. Get the boneless as it also has this creamy sauce reminiscent of tikka sauce. It was delicious and we almost made ourselves sick on it. The dal tadka was like warm buttery heaven. Rich in flavor and not too spicy—we had medium spice.The dosa was large enough to have a seat to itself. It had all the flavors you’d expect and three sauces for dipping. The service was excellent and they kept checking on us even though this is a counter service. We will be back any time we are in town.

The food was pathetic. We ordered Tripple 555 and we requested it to be mild, it turned out to be super spicy. The server forgot out meal names everytime. It was raining outside and we entered bawarchi and the floors became very slippery. Super dangerous. We didn't have a good experience at bawarchi.
