“Absolutely loved this place for our date night! I searched for a date night restaurant bc we are from NC & this place surpassed all my expectations! Our waiter was Alejandro, who was super knowledgeable & so very kind! The manager came over and thanked us for dining with them & was also very kind. I would absolutely come here again & definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone!! We had such a lovely, romantic dinner! Thank you, Red Pony!!”

“We had SO MUCH FUN at our Dinner Detective show! The actors are so talented and really made an effort to customize the show to make it fun for our group. They are also great at improv and kept us laughing the entire time. I would highly recommend having Dinner Detective host your next event!”

The only thing I would take a star off for would be is the bathroom seem be always dirty.UPDATE: we all love when the weather is nice out but having your big side window open let's all the cigarette smoke come in, might as well just be a smoking restaurant.”

Good for a date or a group of friends or bidness. Pasta was exceptional - I had the linguini salmon with lemon / capers and wife the linguini chicken pesto in a cream sauce. I meant to take some home but - oh well! Waiter was a pro - gave great recommendations and checked on us regularly. Nice to have a solid Italian experience to keep us from going in to town which is getting ever more unpleasant what with paid parking everywhere and such. Ciao yall!”

We sat at the bar and got time to get to know the chef and how he started this restaurant. Chef Yun very is so humble and so talented!!!We ordered 7 dishes and every dish was yummmmm!!! Dumplings was so smooth and silkey it literally melts in your mouth!!Crudo was the BOMB!!!Plantain was flavourful especially the sauce!Kale salad was out of the world!I can keep going but you should just go down there and get yourself a nice treat!!”

“I have wanted to try Spicy Hot Pot for a while now and I finally got to try it today. It surpassed my expectations in every way! The food is amazing! My husband and I got the build your own hotpot. We were very impressed with the selection of fresh veggies, meats, and various other add-ins. We both got the hot broth and it is quite hot but totally edible if you like spicy food. I got the rest of broth to go because it’s so good! I highly recommend this place and can’t wait to go back!”

“I've been here a couple of times and It's always been good. I didn't make reservations but the weather was nice, so we sat in the Patio area for lunch. The service was very good and the staff were friendly. The interior of the restaurant is classy and clean. The Patio is also nice. Entrees are around $ 19.00 to $24.00. They also have brick fired pizzas and salads at a lower price point. They get some of their ingredients and produce from a few of the local farmers in the area. It's worth checking out if you're in or around the Downtown Franklin area. They also have a full bar in case you want an alcoholic beverage.”
“I ordered the bistro chicken—it was hands down THE BEST chicken I have ever eaten! The lemon and caper sauce on the chicken was absolutely delicious. Service was excellent—our waiter, Chris, was fantastic. We had a party of 8 and each person in our party left with full bellies of delicious food. 10/10 recommend!”

“Mr. Crepe literally made our trip to Nashville. It's a rarity to find gluten-free (allergy) sweet treats that aren't ice cream or gross, dense cakes. The staff was so friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. They cleaned off the surfaces and made us fresh gluten free crepes. And they were AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS. thank you Mr. Crepe for the great experience! We'd love to come back and try the savory crepes too.Dietary restrictions: We have Celiac (have to eat gluten-free) and felt safe eating here!”

“My daughter and I ate here for dinner and we enjoyed it. They have a seasonal menu, which I appreciate. I had the bouillabaisse and my daughter had a ravioli type dish. My seafood in the soup was cooked to perfection. The broth was well seasoned also. My daughter loved her pasta, except for the kale, but that is a personal preference. She wasn't sure how she felt about kale when she ordered, but she had an opinion after! It was easy to move to the side though. Our service was very fast and efficient even though it was busy. Overall, we had a great evening here.”

Katie bailed on her team so myself and my brother started bussing tables, cleaning tables and getting patrons sat at tables, booths and bars. Environment was electric!! “Some of the best Mexican food in Franklin!Portions are BEYOND generous, there is always enough to take home for the next day.The queso is the best I've ever had.....it's addicting!Love the menu variety and appreciate that they don't skimp on the cheese, queso, chorizo, or toppings. That's refreshing.The staff isn't the nicest out there, but the food seems to make up for that. They always get my order correct, and I think they do an amazing job all around.”

“I had a really incredible experience with Kailey cakes. I ordered a character cake for my sons first birthday. My mother picked up the cake and really didn’t check it and when I got the cake in front of me I didn’t feel like it was what I understood I was getting and I felt really disappointed. Maybe my communication could have been better on what exactly I was expecting- either way in the moment I was extremely upset. I called the store in frenzy and was probably not the nicest I’ve ever been however this business handled the issue beautifully. Never once was I made to feel invalidated and all they wanted to know was what they could do to make me happy. By the end of the conversation I was bawling and telling them it was fine because we were close to an hour away. THEY DROVE 45 MINUTES to my home to make sure that my sons cake was exactly how I wanted it. They have my business for life, and I am so grateful that this is a company that truly cares for their customers.”

“We've been coming here for years, and I'm always surprised at how good and consistent the ribs are. Love the brisket and sides also, but the ribs are moan-out-loud outer-worldly. Also always love how the owner and employees clearly care and work hard. There is no one on their phones with dirty tables here. They are clean fanatics, always moving, working, wiping and cleaning and it shows - the restaurant is spotless. It's refreshing. And It all adds up to our favorite BBQ place in the Nashville area. No small feat. There are many good ones - but this is our hands-down favorite.”

I felt the marinara was a great balance of flavors, with a slight touch of sweetness to cut the acidity of the tomatoes. We also loved the singer. He was great, but not too loud, which is a complaint I often have of singers in a smaller space. We would eat here again.”

“Was really impressed with this place from start to finish. Made reservations, got right in, and had two tall, nicely designed glasses of cool water within about 30 seconds of sitting down. Didn't even have to ask for it. We ordered the avocado deviled eggs with candied bacon, which was delicious and unique. Even the avocado itself was made with great attention to detail in that it was more of a whipped, light cream than heavy chunks, and must have been applied with a cake icing dispenser to give it that perfect star shaped touch on top. Then came out subbed side salads, which had a great variety and tasted refreshingly cool and crisp. Then came our blackened mahi fish tacos, which were probably the best I've ever had. Soft, fresh flour tortillas which I assume must have been handmade hours or minutes earlier, cross grilled mahi filet right in the middle, large, fresh cut strips of avocado, and fresh pico. Came with a generous amount of a really tasty chimichurri sauce. And the whole time we were dining, we noticed any worker that happened to be passing by our table would pick up any empty dishes on their way to the kitchen. Really really impressive. Someone clearly knows how to run a restaurant. Will absolutely be coming back again and again. And I would be remiss of I didn't add a shout out for our superb waiter. Really friendly, polite, attentive, and well versed in the entire menu. 100% skip the "cheesy factory" and head straight to The Rutledge. You won't be disappointed.”

“We stopped in on our way back home to Alabama and I’m so glad we did! Hubby and I both ordered the Lunch Special. I got the Grilled Chicken Wrap with fries and he got the Mixed Grill Wrap. They give you a very generous portion of meat and veggies, which you can tell them what to add, kinda subway style. The meat and veggies were very tender! I would definitely recommend and if they were closer to home, would make this place a regular stop!”

The bartenders are always friendly and treat people like friends, not just customers. The regulars are like family, and I've met some of my best friends here. And don't get me started on the tacos, which are arguably some of the best I've ever had north of the border. Be sure and try the salsas, which helped neutralize a blistering cold winter evening. Both the red and the green blend seamlessly with your meal. The drinks are superb too. The Pineapple version is my personal favorite. Let me tell you, this is the gold standard! The staff went above and beyond in recommending some of their favorites to me. Very warm and friendly. I used to live in Franklin but now it seems I have a legit excuse to come home and visit!! Do yourself a favor and get over to El Carbon. Make it your New Year's Resolution ;)”
