If you used to go to Bombay Palace more than a decade ago, this is like that. Same owners in fact. So good.”

Our main server was Demetrius and Bella was the one who cut our chops and explained about the chop as she did the cutting. Vernon was not our server yet stopped by a few times just to make sure all was well. Everyone who came to the table told us Happy Anniversary and to let them know if there is anything we needed. The food was delicious, ambiance was wonderful and the staff made our meal special to us. This was our first time and we will highly recommend to all our friends and we WILL be back😊”

My coffee-cured filet came out med/med well when I asked for it med rare and it took her almost 8 min to come back to check that my steak was overcooked and the server rolled her eyes like I was annoying her. And it came back undercooked.We waited on our server to order desert. We boxed our own food which is maybe how they do that at Stoney River. And our creme brulee tasted great, but the top wasnt even warm. Just overall disappointing for the amount of money spent and for a special occasion. I wouldn't go back.”

The food was authentic and delicious. Just like in Chongqing. The atmosphere is really nice and attractive. We wanted to come back for hotpot the next day but Popo's leg hurt and she couldn't walk so we had to cancel. I highly recommend any one who wants authentic Chinese food, typical fast food, to give this restaurant a try. You won't be disappointed!”

I called the restaurant and offered to send payment for shipping if they would mail it. They plan on mailing it to her Monday...no charge, compliments of the restaurant! They didn't have to do that, but it is so appreciated, and our food and service were great too. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Thank you Edleys BBQ!!”

This was the best tasting wedding cake both my husband and I had ever had and our family and friends agreed. We were offered a wide variety of food options and beverages and full access to their attached Wine & Spirits shop for craft beers, wines and other liquors by the bottle. My husband is British and this is his go to place when he wants a taste of home - especially fish and chips (he says the tartar sauce seals the deal). We’ve sampled other staples like cottage pie and chicken tenders and everything has been lovely. The dining room is small and cozy so sometimes it’s a bit crowded (especially on trivia night) but we’ve rarely had a problem squeezing in. Waitstaff is friendly and the decor really sells the Irish pub atmosphere. I don’t usually order drinks beyond an occasional hard cider, but there are lots of offerings which I am sure are equally as good as the food.”

Mike, our server, was quick to greet us and made excellent suggestions. I already knew I wanted the bone-in ribeye, but I wasn't settled on an appetizer. Mike suggested the pork belly: ABSOLUTE PERFECTION. My wife ordered the filet. Both steaks were well-seasoned and cooked perfectly. Dessert didn't seem likely, since I was starting to feel full, but I overheard another server mention a chocolate torte that had peanut butter mousse, so. . . O. M. G. As if the food and service weren't good enough, we were back in our hotel room by 9:45.”

“After a day of soccer, we found Scout's down the street from the fields. It's located in a cute town square area with a pond, swings, and grassy area for kids to play. We had a large group of 9 and they seated us right away. We chose to sit on the patio to enjoy the warm afternoon sun and breeze. It's a dog-friendly spot, and our kids loved petting the other guests' dogs (asking for permission of course). The inside is cute as well, but it would have been a little crowded with our larger party. But I could imagine hanging out with friends at the bar or on a date night with my wife. Scout's has a large and diverse menu, so everyone was able to order something to their taste. My son had a smash burger and appetizer of fries, cheese curds, poutine and bacon, my daughter had chicken tenders and Mac N Cheese, I had pizza, and my wife ordered taquitos. They also have a full bar and several craft beers to choose from. I had the Good People IPA, which is one of my faves. The service was excellent. Our server, Lauren, was friendly and attentive. Grabbed empty plates quickly, refilled waters & sodas without asking, and was ready to bring us the next round at just the right time.”

At The Rutledge in Franklin, every plate arrived with the kind of precision, balance, and layered execution you expect from a nationally recognized dining experience — not simply a local night out. The level of craftsmanship rivaled the unforgettable experience I once had dining at Morimoto, and that is praise I do not give lightly.
We began with the lobster bisque and charcuterie board — a masterclass in flavor development and restraint. Rich, elegant, and beautifully composed.
The 8oz filet, cooked to an immaculate medium-rare, was everything a proper steak should be: perfectly tempered, deeply flavorful, and paired brilliantly with the lemon roasted broccolini and velvety sauce beneath it. Every component elevated the next.
The lobster mac & cheese was pure indulgence without becoming heavy, while the grilled salmon over pesto risotto delivered vibrant freshness and balance in every bite. Layer upon layer of flavor unfolded with intention, harmony, and refinement. Even the cornbread — golden, buttery, and impossibly moist — deserved its own standing ovation.
What transformed an extraordinary meal into a truly memorable dining experience, however, was the hospitality. Nate orchestrated the evening with professionalism, warmth, and timing that felt effortless, while Richard, the FOH manager, ensured every detail of the experience was polished to perfection. That level of attentiveness is rare — and it matters.

“This restaurant was a lovely surprise! I had been wanting to go here for a while. I got more than what was expected. I think the lady who took care of us was Ella. Then the guy who brought us our food was Noah, and both of them were so friendly and kind. The food was delicious. Several people came by to check on us at our table. It didn't take super long to get our food and they were very busy. We waited longer in the line to order, but it was so worth the wait. Pictures of what we got at the bottom.

The prices were not bad, we fully expected to overpay for average food and drinks but that was not the case. The food was so good! “El Carbon is off the charts!!! I absolutely loved the carne asada quesadilla. It just melts in your mouth. And don't get me started on the tacos, which are arguably some of the best I've ever had north of the border. Be sure and try the salsas, which helped neutralize a blistering cold winter evening. Both the red and the green blend seamlessly with your meal. The drinks are superb too. The Pineapple version is my personal favorite. Let me tell you, this is the gold standard! The staff went above and beyond in recommending some of their favorites to me. Very warm and friendly. I used to live in Franklin but now it seems I have a legit excuse to come home and visit!! Do yourself a favor and get over to El Carbon. Make it your New Year's Resolution ;)”

“My family is from Chongqing so we always look for authentic Sichuan and hotpot restaurants when we travel. The owner was super nice and helpful and answered all of our questions. The food was authentic and delicious. Just like in Chongqing. The atmosphere is really nice and attractive. We wanted to come back for hotpot the next day but Popo's leg hurt and she couldn't walk so we had to cancel. I highly recommend any one who wants authentic Chinese food, typical fast food, to give this restaurant a try. You won't be disappointed!”

“[July 2025] I was looking around for a nearby coffee shop while in Cool Springs and this cute place came up nearby on the maps. When I arrived, I actually was greeted by Art, the owner who was very warm and welcoming. I ordered an iced lavender oat milk latte and breakfast bowl with house made salsa. The breakfast bowl was savory and perfectly cheesy. The latte was well balanced. I loved the décor there as well. It was a small café with a home-like vibe. The bathroom even had these photos of Mona Lisa blowing bubbles with chewing gum. I definitely will be back!”

“We were in Franklin for a business brief business trip, and actually went to another coffee shop, where an employee there highly recommended Hank’s. So, after our coffee at the other place, we went there. While the coffee at the other place was pretty good, Hank’s was much better. So much so we went back the following day before we left Franklin. But the staff, the customers and the atmosphere were superb. Always speaks well when customers are lined up out the door and not complaining or leaving. And the staff member that took our order the first day remembered us when we showed up the second day. Can’t say enough good things, it was that good.
Also, we do coffee dates wherever we are, wherever we go, so we do know our coffee and are particular. Photos are from day 1 and day 2.”
