We have driven by this place on the square in Franklin for years and had never stopped in. We ate there tonight and it was incredible. I think I ate the best plate of pasta that I have ever eaten.
This was one of our favorite places, but after our last visit, I'll have to think a bit more about if I want to come back and give it another chance, unfortunately.
we booked our reservation on Google. and we're repeatedly told how shocked they were we had a 845pm reservation when they close at 9pm.
they sat us in spite of the closing time, and we ordered quickly - knowing what we wanted already.

Aside from the eloquence, delicious entrees, its romantic with low lighting and guitar music is extraordinaire. It's never loud and the variety unique from Nat King Cole, Van Morrison to Stevie Ray..wow!

Zolo's Italian Restaurant offers a delightful dining experience, with a variety of delicious Italian dishes. The penne in spicy vodka sauce with shrimp, spaghetti and meatballs, and pasta with alfredo receive high praise. The menu features a wide array of dishes typical of Italian-American or broadly Italian fare, such as spaghetti & meatballs, tortellini (including spicy "Diablo"), lasagna, chicken parmigiana, shrimp and scallop carbonara, and Angel Hair Del Pescatore. Portions are large and the wines are reasonably priced. The service is friendly, attentive, and not intrusive. Zolo's provides a taste of authentic Italian ambiance and a highly recommended dining experience.
