“This is an amazing restaurant! Why four stars? Let me explain. If you love Italian food then you won't be disappointed. As a party of four we each sampled the others dishes. Amazing! The service was impeccable from the hostess to our server. The atmosphere was fantastic... On the outside. It was a perfect day with a breeze blowing and they have large umbrellas to shade the tables outside. The inside was a bit much for me. The tables were very close together and the noise a bit too much. Deduct a half star for that. It is a pricey place but it is Franklin. You can expect $24 per dish which I don't mind for really good food. However... $15 for one cocktail? Come on now. Deduct a half star for that. Four entrees, one appetizer, two cocktails and one desert... $186 before tip. Will I be back? Absolutely. Just not often but it is that good. By the way, the tiramisu is the best I've had and the calamari was cooked perfect.“

“55 South was the perfect choice for dinner/drinks for our "Bride-To-Be" party of 6. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted, with friendly smiles, by the hostess & bartenders. The table wait time was minimal. Our server was so great & never missed a beat. The Nola Cheesesteak (makes my mouth water just talking about it) was DELICIOUS! Hands down, 55 South should be on your itinerary if you're in the Downtown Franklin area.“

“We had a very bad experience there last year re: other patrons coming in and running us out of our table. Words were said , things got out control. Then management that night didn’t make things better. Anyway, main manager promised a night out on them. Although we live 2 hours away , we don’t go there often. So. We went back this year Christmas shopping and was gonna take up offer. But that manager didn’t work there anymore. But! The new manager. , Weston went above and beyond taking care of , even tho he didn’t know what happened. Very gracious. And made a wrong a right ! 5 stars!!“

“I came here for a birthday dinner and it had to be one of the best meals I ever had. The steak rolls are delicious as an appetizer and their lobster mac is a must try. Absolutely delicious. It’s a little pricey but that’s too expected. It is a really good place for a special occasion. I also had their rotisserie chicken and sweet potatoes and I ate every last bite. Our server was very kind and the ambience was impeccable. Very clean restaurant. I will be back.“

“Found this place on a late night headed back to our hotel and we are so glad we did! Definitely recommend and we will go back next year. The bartender (Hannah C) was very friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere was great. The menu provided a large variety of options and service was quick. Mushroom Swiss Burger with tots was delicious and the fried pickles were SO GOOD. It was just the perfect place to sit back, relax, get great food and enjoy the moment.“

“Excellent coffee and brunch on a Sunday morning. Food freshly-made. Waitress gave wonderful, friendly service. Sat on patio on a nice day-quiet area. Definitely recommend to those appreciate good food and coffee in a quaint place.“

“Best garlic Parmesan wings I’ve had! The outdoor patio is charming on a balmy early summer day. Be prepared for a laid back casual vibe as the Pig is currently understaffed. The food was exceptional though and I love supporting local.“

“First time ever dining at a chuys, and over all surprised by the experience! Food was amazing, especially the ranch dip they have! Denise was our server and she was wonderful! She went above and beyond, made sure that my food came out the way i wanted. Absolutely loved her energy ! Will be back again!!“
