“This is my favorite sports bar in all of Brentwood and Franklin. It's great food and the service is usually right on! The only thing I would take a star off for would be is the bathroom seem be always dirty.UPDATE: we all love when the weather is nice out but having your big side window open let's all the cigarette smoke come in, might as well just be a smoking restaurant.“
“This place is a GEM! The food was incredibly well thought out and delicious, the atmosphere was lovely mid day on a Thursday and our server DJ was out of this world kind, bubbly, and full of advice to cover all our needs while in Nashville. Hard round of applause!“
“Always great a great atmosphere, food always top quality. Never had any problems with service, very helpful and friendly. We had to send a plate back due to a small issue and the manager came out and apologized and replaced the food right away and threw in a desert for us. Thanks! Can get very busy throughout the week.“
“My husband and I ate at McCreary's Pub yesterday, March 13th, for the first time. The food was excellent i.e. garden salads with homemade lemon oil dressing, chicken pot pie, corn beef and cabbage dinners. Everything made from scratch! Only problem was the time it took to get our food (45 minutes) and we were starving. It was 3 pm and a very late lunch. Also the wooden chairs were not very comfortable (we're in our 70's) for us. Otherwise everything was great.“
“Kat and her team with the catering department went above and beyond for our team. We were on a very tight time limit and somehow, she worked it out so that we were out within our given timeframe. The food looked and tasted amazing, and the wait staff were quick and attentive. We will definitely be coming back!“
“We had driven and walked past this place for awhile and tonight decided to stop in for dinner. Ran into an old friend getting takeout who said this was his family’s favorite place. We both had grilled arepas - pork for me and chicken for my wife. Excellent! The plantains were perfect…best we could remember having in Nashville. Other side was rice and beans which was also delicious. Forgot to take a photo before eating. Will definitely go back.Next time we will likely split an order of arepas and get an appetizer or two.“
“Excellent meal, service and ambiance. Sat at the bar and enjoyed fantastic martinis and then white wine with dinner. The young man waiting on us was professional, engaging, and well put together. I strongly recommend Bricktops for a casual meal, or a fancy event.“
“I loved this place if only I could get these recipes! I am definitely going to spend a lot of my time recreating some of these dishes to my best ability! The workers were amazing and sweet. My one thing i would be little picky was the air-conditioner was on us so little cold but a few drinks in and wasn't a problem, haha.“
“If you are either a local or visitor looking for something off the beaten path of downtown Franklin or chains, please rush here for breakfast! I finally tried this place today & will be going back. Reminds me of so many ‘old school’ places that are disappearing. Had pancakes, bacon & a biscuit. Portion is what portions used to be! Everything is fresh & the staff are so friendly. I believe the pancakes are not on the official menu. Fast service and reasonable pricing“
“Healthy food for the whole family. Great options for our 4 and 6 year old (power plate). Service can be a bit slow but the food it worth it! We love the smoothies as a treat, and the salads/bowls/wraps (southwest grilled chicken) for entrees.“
“I wish I could give 100 stars!!Friendly and beautiful staff! The wings are bomb the cheese fries are worth fist fighting for and the sweet tea is killer! Also got a fire lemon drop shot that went down smooth ❤️ I hope I get a Tony's in Panama City Florida because Tennessee is a long way“
“Checked all the boxes. Associate walking thru the dining area greeting people, bringing food out and lastly cleaning. Someone was cleaning tables , chairs and floor the whole time. I'd only been once before and liked it. The young lady on the register guided me through the menu. Alot to offer.Ended up with their cheeze burger and straight fries, water and a double dip of fudge covered chocolate frozen custard. BOOM! SO GOOD. TO MUCH. priced reasonable compared to Wendy's or MacDonald s . Quality burger meat and the buns are a step up too. Cool Springs Culver's is GREAT. John Haury“
“Decent restaurant located in Franklin tn. I arrived at about 630. It was very busy and there seemed to be a wait. I was told there was a 15min wait to be seated. As a single diner I should've been offered the bar to avoid wait. So I suggested it myself and they replied "go ahead".My initial impression of this place was that it was going to be a prime steakhouse. (I just went in blind). It turns out to be something like a Applebee's kinda vibe.My food was seasoned well. Food quality was moderate. Bartender was very sweet and attentive even though she had alot going on. I would return here, prices were standard and what you would expect. Photos below.“
“My daughter and I ate here for dinner and we enjoyed it. They have a seasonal menu, which I appreciate. I had the bouillabaisse and my daughter had a ravioli type dish. My seafood in the soup was cooked to perfection. The broth was well seasoned also. My daughter loved her pasta, except for the kale, but that is a personal preference. She wasn't sure how she felt about kale when she ordered, but she had an opinion after! It was easy to move to the side though. Our service was very fast and efficient even though it was busy. Overall, we had a great evening here.“
“During our visit we were promptly seated upon arrival, thanks to our reservation with OpenTable. Our waitress was attentive from greeting through departure. Our glasses were never empty. The food came out in a timely fashion and was delicious. Our only issue was that in the section we were in, the seating for our table of two was closely placed between two tables of four. This would not have been an issue if the family to one side had made their children behave a bit better, but that is not the fault of the Public House except for on the closeness of the seating. I would still eat here again and I would recommend the Coal Town Public House to friends looking for a nice evening out, but maybe not to families with young children.“
“The menu selections at 1799 were varied enough to satisfy many palates and sophistication levels. We started with the pork belly and spinach salad as a starter both of which were delicious and beautifully plated. My husband had the seared Halibut and I chose the Scallops as our entrees and both were exceptional in taste, temperature and presentation. Oh, don't let me forget to mention the exquisite, freshly baked popovers which were served with the first course and available throughout the meal. Nicole was our Server and enhanced our evening with not only her charming presence but her knowledge of the menu and wine offerings and exquisite table side manner. A true gem of a restaurant in charming Franklin, Tennessee. The Garrett's“
“I like this place. The one in downtown Franklin is similar, although arguably a little more spacious. I've only had their standard burgers, a custom one and then the barbecue one. Both were very tasty and the fries are pretty good as well. This particular location has ample parking and good customer service. I do recommend if you're in the area and looking for a burger that's not from a chain!“
“Cool little throwback Meat & Two kinda place. Menu of 8 main dishes...all meats except for a veggie platter if you're so inclined. 11 side items to pick from. Converted home but a fair amount of seating in different rooms plus some outside seating. I chose the fried chicken (one drum/ one breast) with sides of sweet potato casserole and mac 'n' cheese. They give you a roll and I ordered black coffee. Both were good. Quality medium roast coffee, The mac 'n' cheese was soupier than I prefer but that's pretty common. Flavor was good though and the mac (spiral cut) wasn't cooked to mush so that's a "win". The sweet potato casserole was really tasty and is definitely recommended. The chicken was precooked of course for time purposes (my meal arrived in five minutes) but still flavorful and plenty meaty. With coffee the bill was $17 before tax. Maybe a bit high but that's the new economy I suppose and you do have the Williamson County Beauty Tax :-) Great service by everyone involved....and the lady at the checkout had a cool English accent...even if she didn't offer me a complimentary "biscuit" as I was leaving :-) Give this place a try...just for the old school vibe and service.“
“We had a really good experience here for the first time. It was crowded as it is a popular place to both grab lunch but also pick up your larger catering orders, so make sure to leave some time for waiting on a table to open up at lunch time. The portions were substantial for lunch. My husband got the fish tacos with two sides and I got the grilled chicken with two sides. It was a nice break from chain restaurants and over-priced signature lunch establishments in the area. It was also affordable considering how expensive it can be to eat in Franklin. Overall a great experience with fresh food and good atmosphere.“
“Sometimes in life you get lucky with your choices, and during a time when I had COVID and was stuck at home, I Doordashed this amazing place and it changed my life.To this day, in all of the places I have traveled, this small restaurant in Franklin, TN has the best burger I have ever eaten. I can even attest that everyone I have brought here would say the same. Unfortunately, I do not live close enough anymore to stop by, but if I am ever in the area, it would most definitely be worth an hour or two drive!“
“Every time we come here I’m reminded why I moved to Nashville. Their staff is incredibly kind, their food is solid, the patrons are respectful of each other and the music they book is top-notch. And, it’s a wonderful drive to get out there. Highly recommend.“
“A great neighborhood pub!! We live in the Leipers Fork area and it's so nice to have a little pub away from the chaos of Cool Springs and Nashville. Scouts is tucked in the West Haven community in Franklin. The vibe is really relaxed and inviting. The food, drinks and service are all top notch. Nice menu, lots of fun and delicious choices. From their burgers & fries and fish & chips to their fresh and flavor filled salads, it all just so yummy! Great staff too! The service is so genuine. Frank is an amazing manager, he is constantly running food & drinks, giving great recommendation and checking in with every guest through their stay. So engaging! He is truly is an asset for Scouts! Mitch & Micheal are both fantastic bartenders, very friendly and attentive to all their guest, no matter how busy it gets.We love this little pub! Andy Marshall once again knocks it out of the culinary park. Thanks for creating a sweet little gem for us all to enjoy. Look forward to going back again & again. Scouts honor!! Yum & Cheers!“
“We visited this place with my husband and we fell in love with the tacos!I ordered Fish tacos which were so crunchy not oily at all. maybe less lettuce would look better but flavor was good.Husband requested beef tacos, seemed like he loved them because ordered the same beef tacos twice haha so no words for that, everything was delicious.+ beersEnvironment:Very friendly , I saw parents with their kids, so, it is a good place if you consider to be there with your kids.Place:They offer 2 environments , if you would like to be outside , they have that area available for you or inside however you like.Restrooms:Men's restroom.Girl's restroom.Waitress:Was aware about service given which was good! I don't remember the name, but waitresses are friendly.Probably Soon we will be visiting the place again.Kid-friendliness: kids are allowed“
“I mean it's your local pub local hangout and they do it right. They also have a patio. Service was good pub food was made well.Service is very quick. You can watch all kinds of games here and they have good country music playing. Note someone else had posted a dinner menu on here and that's a couple years old not accounting for inflation current prices. So for instance my burger was $11.50 after Joe Biden it's $14.“
“This place is ideal if you want homemade dishes to take out and piece a southern style meal together at your house! The staff here is so accommodating and there's really nothing about this place that could be considered anything other than exceptional. Buy a Miss Daisy's cookbook while you're there too! Please note, this is not a restaurant, rather a small establishment that makes their own food that you can purchase to takeout.“
“Honestly such a great spot to stop in and grab some breakfast or brunch. Food comes out SO fast and it’s always delicious. I always stop at this FW location when I’m in town on business. Usually once a month or more. The staff is pleasant and the restaurant is seriously spotless. 10000/10“
“Had a luncheon there with 13 ladies. Very attentive service and accommodating for that large of a party. Food was plentiful and reasonably priced. Dinner type atmosphere... Breakfast & lunch. Skillet breakfasts are delicious as are the salads.“
“I ate lunch here today with a friend and what I observed was a manager who really cares about people and his customers. I have celiac disease and he went above and beyond to make sure my food was prepared correctly. Also, there was a table of state troopers, and he comped their whole meal!“
“Meridies is a Heavenly place to go have breakfast. It sometimes gets really crowded, but that just means the food is really good. Sometimes you have to stand in a long line at the register to order, but that just means the food is really good. Sometimes you have to sit really close to people at the next table because there's so many people crammed in the dining room, but that just means the food is really good. And I ate all my really good food before I thought to take a picture of it. Just gives me an excuse to go back.“
“Was really impressed with this place from start to finish. Made reservations, got right in, and had two tall, nicely designed glasses of cool water within about 30 seconds of sitting down. Didn't even have to ask for it. We ordered the avocado deviled eggs with candied bacon, which was delicious and unique. Even the avocado itself was made with great attention to detail in that it was more of a whipped, light cream than heavy chunks, and must have been applied with a cake icing dispenser to give it that perfect star shaped touch on top. Then came out subbed side salads, which had a great variety and tasted refreshingly cool and crisp. Then came our blackened mahi fish tacos, which were probably the best I've ever had. Soft, fresh flour tortillas which I assume must have been handmade hours or minutes earlier, cross grilled mahi filet right in the middle, large, fresh cut strips of avocado, and fresh pico. Came with a generous amount of a really tasty chimichurri sauce. And the whole time we were dining, we noticed any worker that happened to be passing by our table would pick up any empty dishes on their way to the kitchen. Really really impressive. Someone clearly knows how to run a restaurant. Will absolutely be coming back again and again. And I would be remiss of I didn't add a shout out for our superb waiter. Really friendly, polite, attentive, and well versed in the entire menu. 100% skip the "cheesy factory" and head straight to The Rutledge. You won't be disappointed.“
“Ripley is such a sweetheart. We had an issue with our steak and he immediately was on top of making sure it got fixed and even brought out some fries so my friend would have something to eat while we waited for the new steak. Also, I wasn't a fan of my drink and he just took it off my bill no questions asked. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was amazing. Will definitely come back again.“
“Before you go in YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND ITS A SMOKING BAR so yes it’s not gonna smell great.. BUT the people that work there, especially Kim, are fantastic people. They made New Years magical and i couldn’t ask for a better place and people. :)“
“I don’t normally post reviews about restaurants in Hotels but damn! the food was so good! It’s a small, hand-crafted menu and the portion sizes are perfect. Consider a nice cocktail and a few appetizers with friends in the very stylish lounge. Would come back just for the food.“

“Members of my family dined at this waffle house on Valentine’s Day 2024. It was absolutely wonderful! The manager, Korey, and staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a wonderful Valentine’s Day. The host was so polite and offered roses and candy as customers waited for their table. The staff members were well-organized and dressed in holiday colors. They had red napkins, small heart shaped candles, drinks were served in wine glasses, decorations, and a photo set. Great job, Korey and team! I hope you all feel loved and appreciated for all you did to give us a memorable Valentine’s Day 2024! WE LOVE WAFFLE HOUSE!“
“This has been my favorite Mexican spot in Franklin for years. There has been a recent change in staff and the girl working up front is just horrible. They’ve made mistakes on my order several times and she just hangs up when I called to have it fixed. She has hung up otherwise when I call to check on the status of an order. Hope they can improve their staff because this place has always been a great mom and pop shop.“
“Absolutely loved this place for our date night! I searched for a date night restaurant bc we are from NC & this place surpassed all my expectations! Our waiter was Alejandro, who was super knowledgeable & so very kind! The manager came over and thanked us for dining with them & was also very kind. I would absolutely come here again & definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone!! We had such a lovely, romantic dinner! Thank you, Red Pony!!“
