“If we could give this restaurant and service more stars we would! We’re here on a trip from Virginia and highly recommend! The steak was one of the best steaks we have gotten at a steak house. The atmosphere was incredible and our server Peyton was beyond great! Definitely ask for him! Will 100% be returning if we are ever here on another trip.“

“I feel like this is a pretty standard upscale restaurant. Good atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. They recommended their homemade soda and it was nice, maybe a little expensive. One last thing, I thought the sweet and spicy chicken sandwich would be covered in sauce based on the description and image online, but it was not. Just a heads up for anyone interested in that dish.“

“The wife and I decided on the Honeysuckle for one of our 10 year wedding anniversary date nights, and it did not disappoint. We shared Fried Green Tomatoes and a charcuterie board. My wife had a selection of oysters and I had a the shrimp and grits. The wedge salad was also perfect.

As good as the food was, the star of the evening was our server, Autumn. She made fantastic recommendations and made us feel like we were the most important table in the restaurant. She even moved us to a bigger table so we had room for all our share plates.“

The table wait time was minimal. Our server was so great & never missed a beat. The Nola Cheesesteak (makes my mouth water just talking about it) was DELICIOUS! Hands down, 55 South should be on your itinerary if you're in the Downtown Franklin area.“

“I came here for a birthday dinner and it had to be one of the best meals I ever had. The steak rolls are delicious as an appetizer and their lobster mac is a must try. Absolutely delicious. It’s a little pricey but that’s too expected. It is a really good place for a special occasion. I also had their rotisserie chicken and sweet potatoes and I ate every last bite. Our server was very kind and the ambience was impeccable. Very clean restaurant. I will be back.“

“Found this place on a late night headed back to our hotel and we are so glad we did! Definitely recommend and we will go back next year. The bartender (Hannah C) was very friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere was great. The menu provided a large variety of options and service was quick. Mushroom Swiss Burger with tots was delicious and the fried pickles were SO GOOD. It was just the perfect place to sit back, relax, get great food and enjoy the moment.“

“First time dining here. Excellent experience. Quality food that doesn't need to be over seasoned. Salad was fresh, I am guessing they make their own dressings. Hot rub and Buffalo wings had heat but not too much so you can taste the chicken. I highly recommend everyone try this place. The wait staff is very attentive even though it was busy.“

“I had dinner at CoreLife eatery in Franklin cool Springs area one night when I was visiting for work. I ordered online via their websites online ordering feature. The food was about 5 to 10 Minutes past when they said it would be ready however, when I got it, I was very surprised with the quality and taste of the meal. Definitely worth the wait and I would highly recommend this place for a quick bite to eat for lunch or dinner. Great option for a healthy evening meal.“

“Stopped by for lunch and glad we did. What a nice place in the middle of every restaurant there could be this is where to go for a burger. Food great. Service great. Summertime Hemingway cocktail delightful. The only thing we didn't like was the bar stools. Very small seat and uncomfortable. We chose to sit at the bar after seated next to several kids. While the area was much quieter and less stress the seats were tough to sit on and don't even think of leaning back! We will be back for more burgers.“

“I just wanted to acknowledge the Zaxby's store in franklin Tn store number 69702, on Murfreesboro RD, Ms. Charlene Colvin was kind and very pleasant to work with. she assisted me in all my needs when it came to a big order we did for our technician's at Darrell Waltrip Honda. from the moment i spoke to her she took great care of me and made sure we received our food on time and it was very hot. I love her energy and the way she handled the entire situation. the whole staff as well, I spoke to Randall and he was also pleasant as well. customer experience is so hard to encounter in today's time, i work in customer service and i know how important it is to make sure all of my clients are well taken care off. “This has been my favorite Mexican spot in Franklin for years. There has been a recent change in staff and the girl working up front is just horrible. They’ve made mistakes on my order several times and she just hangs up when I called to have it fixed. She has hung up otherwise when I call to check on the status of an order. Hope they can improve their staff because this place has always been a great mom and pop shop.“

Upon further investigation I now realize my horrible wedding catering was from another Brown Bag catering company in Franklin TN.Although I find it odd that two companies have the same name in the same area… this place may be great. Not sure, never been. However this review submission won’t let me remove my previous post so I can only update. I changed my star rating from a 1 star to a 5 star. I apologize for my confusion.I will say that if you find yourself debating on which Brown Bag catering services you are contemplating… I can almost guarantee this place is better than the Brown Bag Catering “food with a purpose” in Franklin.“

“We enjoyed a great breakfast in Merridees which included incredible baked goods and gorgeously cooked eggs and pancakes. The food and coffee were both great, and with a perfect window seat to people watch it made for a great start to the day.

On our way out of Franklin, we grabbed some cakes to go, all of which were excellent, but in particular the snickerdoodles, molasses cookies and 7 layer brownies were standouts.

Service is really friendly, to the extent that when I accidentally left my wallet a member of staff came chasing after us with it!“

“The food was good. I highly recommend the turkey club. We were a party of four, two of us got it. The next night, we both wanted the turkey again, but they were out. I don’t know what the magic is, but I hope it’s on the menu next year when we’re back. Only downside was the long wait, either for a table or service; I think they were short handed.“
