It was truly some of the best Italian food I have ever eaten. I had the chicken Alfredo and the rosemary focaccia bread. Simply divine. I finished with the tiramisu and coffee. The food was fresh and delicious. The service was excellent. Phylicia went out of her way to take care of me.
Celebrated an anniversary dinner at Chrysalis this past week. It was a very nice meal. Service was very good, food was hot and tasty. We were a little rushed at first as we had not been seated more than 5 seconds before the waiter was asking if we'd like a drink and appetizer (we need a minute to view a menu please). I had a beer and wife had the Purple Rain mocktail (it was great). We got the fried eggplant & cheese appetizer as well as the bread for 2 (focaccia and another)....read full review

Chrysalis Modern Italian is a hidden gem, perfect for lunch or dinner. The Caesar salad and homemade pasta bolognese are incredible, and the restaurant has excellent food at reasonable prices. Fresh, homemade noodles and other great quality ingredients are a highlight. The creative menu offers unique choices like the fruity di mare, which includes clams, mussels, shrimp, and calamari, and a large meatball sandwich made with beef, pork, and veal, served with arugula. The staff is professional and welcoming, and although one guest experienced a delay in communication about a fish entree, the team was accommodating to their changing guest list. The atmosphere is chic and pleasant, with plenty of parking available right outside the establishment. The restaurant is ideal for date nights or special celebrations, but guests should be aware that the check can only be split up to six ways. Overall, this restaurant is highly recommended for a great dining experience, though it can get slightly loud at times.
