“My family is from Chongqing so we always look for authentic Sichuan and hotpot restaurants when we travel. The owner was super nice and helpful and answered all of our questions. The food was authentic and delicious. Just like in Chongqing. The atmosphere is really nice and attractive. We wanted to come back for hotpot the next day but Popo's leg hurt and she couldn't walk so we had to cancel. I highly recommend any one who wants authentic Chinese food, typical fast food, to give this restaurant a try. You won't be disappointed!“

“Absolutely loved this place. My wife is Asian and I have learned the difference between real authentic Chinese and American Chinese. This is 💯 % authentic delicious Chinese af #DaRoofMan will definitely be coming back here for great food . Also understand that authentic Chinese food will take 15 to 20 minutes to prepare at times . So I recommend coming in with a bit of patience and you will definitely leave more than satisfied.“

“This was my wife's idea. I know, shocking that a wife can decide where to eat. LOL It was an excellent choice. We ate way more that we needed, but wanted to try multiple things on the menu. This ain't exactly what we usually eat, and wanted to hone in on what we order for future visits. I'll just get the beef soup next time, but with extra beef. It was delicious. My wife will get a steamed bun and we'll share seared pork and cabbage dumplings.“

“Wish I knew about this restaurant sooner! It is kind of a hole in the wall Chinese restaurant. They have the best Chinese takeout and you get so much food for how cheap it is here. The chicken basil fried rice is one of my favorites, but everything I’ve tried here has been great. It is family owned and ran and you can tell they care about their customers. Jenny is the sweetest and always remembers me and my order!!“

“Edit: 8/3/26 I got the scallop hibachi today and it was amazing! The scallops and veggies were cooked perfectly and the sauces were so tasty!

Edit: January 2025 I went back a week later to get the hibachi chicken for myself. Absolutely delicious and a great portion! This is a new favorite of mine!

Original review: January 2025 I was very excited to find a place that serves stir fried udon noodles! It was so close to being perfect, but the sauce and chicken were unusually watery. Hoping I just got a bad batch and I’m willing to try again. I also tasted some of my partners hibachi chicken and it was delicious!“

“This place is amazing! The restaurant is always incredibly clean, the staff is so friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious every single time. They are especially kind to our daughter and always go above and beyond to make sure her allergies are taken seriously, which means so much to us. “Food was delicious and definitely quelled the craving for Americanized Chinese food. The sweet and sour chicken was the best item we ordered, with perfectly crisp breading and super tender chicken. The General Tso’s was also very good.

However, the pu pu platter was a little disappointing. Both the fried chicken and spare ribs were tough and overcooked, but the other items were good.

The restaurant itself is a little shabby, very clearly intended to operate mostly as a takeout facility. Very little seating, bare bones decor, storage in the hallway leading to the bathroom. But the building seems clean.

The service was good. We received our food in a timely manner, especially given the size of our order. Nothing was missing and everything was packaged well, with little squares of cardboard even placed between the containers so the plastic doesn’t melt.“

“This will be my go to Chinese restaurant in Franklin. Exactly what I was looking for. Crab rangoons were very good, and they have crab in them. I've been noticing some places that just serve cream cheese rangoons lately. The wanton soup hit the spot and chicken with broccoli also very good. Good sized portion as well. I could go back and order again right now. Good stuff.“

“Just picked up dinner to go and had to wait on the sesame chicken which was no big deal but the gentleman who was helping me, who’s name I believe started with a “G” offered me a soda while I waited and could not have been a nicer guy! Really cool guy and very friendly!!“
