“The food is usually good, but it has been better before. I hope they can do more care to the buffet to make it amazing again. The cleaning needs to be done better. And the food should be more fresher. Otherwise, it is a good value especially for large family with kids. The desert selection is nice and the parking is convenient.
Vegetarian options: Some options
Parking: Available
Kid-friendliness: Very friendly

“Fantastic! I moved to this area about 2 months ago and have tried a few Chinese places but they didn't taste as what I'm used to and like. I'm picky with boneless spare ribs and sauce taste. My son like all types of Lo Mein. China Wok delivered the best flavor, service, and price. I'm impressed! This is our go to Chinese now. Prepared quickly, friendly and kind service, and tastes great!! Thank you for making our day.“

“Everything was fantastic. Got the peanut butter shrimp dumplings (preferred these the most), peanut butter pork dumplings, and the fried pork/shrimp dumplings. Everything was piping hot, and they were making them as we were standing there. So good.“

“A great treat from beautiful China… A cultural experience in sampling the variety of choices (and there are many) you are given to make your selection. I have been eating at this restaurant for over seven years now and it is by far my most favorite Asian cuisine. Not only is the food exceptional, the service too is SUPERB!!! The last time I was there Gilda (aka Gina) was my waitress. She is extremely customer oriented, friendly, professional and always works to get your food out to you in a timely manner. If an error is made in the placement of your order she will do all within her power to correct it and make it right for the customer. Another waitress to ask for when you arrive is Julia. If you are visiting or just passing through Nashville I highly recommend China Cottage. Out of 5 Stars on the scale of 1 - 5 I give them a. “5”. ???“

“I have been getting my husband the Shrimp fried rice, and me the General tso’s chicken for takeout every couple weeks the past couple months. It’s quality food for the price and i think it’s better than any place comparable in old hickory/hermitage. Today I switched to the Honey Chicken combo with pork fried rice and i’m going to stick with this it’s SO good! The lady up front gave me some really good hot sauce from the back that’s delicious!! Always super kind to me and very quick with service.“

“A few weeks ago at work I had a craving for some Chinese food, ordered with doordash. The food was packed securely in sturdy plastic containers with extra utensils, napkins, & sauces in the bag. Paper bag stapled to prevent tampering and in a tied plastic bag. The portions are good sized, which luckily meant I had leftovers for the next day's lunch. I've ordered from here multiple times since then (including today) and tried several dishes. Every dish I've had is delicious and arrived hot. My only complaint is they aren't closer to home. ? Highly recommend ?? The Egg Drop Wonton Soup and Singapore Chow Mai Fun Noodles are two of my favourites.“

“There are various version of the lunch special, which gets confusing. The most inexpensive option was advertised for under $10 but with tax and the credit card fee tacked on, it was over $11 out of pocket. Food was pretty tasty, but there was considerably less food than the similarly priced meals at Swagruha in the same building.“

“Amazing home style thai food with amazing service and delicious flavors.
We got the mussels which is a must have along with the shrimp dumplings which was coated in rice flour. Different flavors and highly recommend
We also got the popular chicken pad thai which was made of glass noodles and the pork ka prao. The pad thai here was definitely unique compared to the other thai restaurants i have been too.
Overall don’t miss this place . It looks like a very small place from the outside but it opens up a plethora of flavors once you enter. Highly recommended!!“

“Ate there with friends on June 17 food was as good as I remembered from eating there in 2019. What ruined it was the heat from having no A/C. Same thing that ruined it in 2019. Are they ever going to fix the A/C? With outside being in the 90s I can only guess what the interior temp is hitting!“

“I ordered via door dash and door dash took forever to get the food to me. They kept drawing out the delivery time and I was worried the food and fried appetizers would be cold and soggy. So I was delighted, absolutely thrilled to see panda house had packed the Rangoon's and shrimp rolls perfectly! They had cooled a bit but we're still hot and crunchy! The rice was still steaming and the garlic chicken was delicious and warm!Even though door dash dropped the ball and took an extra 35 min to get the food to me, panda's food was still hot and delicious. Well done panda!“

“The Chicken Lo Mein is great there & the spring egg rolls! You can eat inside it has a few booths. China King is a small place but clean & friendly & big on taste. Located across from Walmart in Hermitage Tn & close to CiCi's Pizza is where you find China King. We normally just show up an order to go food. Its ready in under 15 minutes. The food is hot & fresh & the staff are friendly & helpful. Its a perfect little local dive & you and your family cant go wrong by picking up lunch or dinner there. The chicken lo mein & egg rolls is great! The portions are more than enough.

“Panda Cafe has been one of my favorite go-to restaurants for the last 4 years. It is a buffet with a variety of different entrees. The food has always been well-cooked in my experience, is quickly prepared to go and the workers are very nice. Especially the person working at the register - she has a smile that really brightens your day. As for the pricing, it’s usually under the $8 mark depending on how many items you choose. I hope this business can expand! Definitely underrated.“

“My wife left me for a yogi man. Apparently he can do things I just couldn't (touch his toes I'm assuming). I asked her "Yogatta be kidding me?" and left. I jumped into a car. I was bent out of shape, sad and inconsolable. My eyes were full of tears and but I knew that her actions were not premeditated. That's when I saw China Spring restaurant: every now and zen my intuition tells me what to do. And let me tell ya: it changed my life! It sounds like a stretch, but it's true.I started with the spring roll, which as delicious as the cold glass of water in the morning. The Moo Goo Gai Pan chicken was tender, smothered in a delicious sauce with mushrooms and vegetables and what I'm assuming was a pound of love put into this dish. The Wonton Soup was wonderful, perfect balance of spices - just fresh and delicious. Hearty, bold and certainly capable of demolishing even the stiffest hangover. This meal was delectable, exotic, and incinerated everything yogi related in my heart. As I finished my meal, tears came rolling back to me and I thought: "Should I leave?... Nah, I'ma stay."“

“Fantastic! We recently moved to the area and the last couple Chinese restaurants have not been up to par. We saw China King when went to Food Lion next door and had to try it. I love BBQ spare ribs which are hard to find in TN. These were fabulous with fried rice, not greasy but flavorful. Excellent sweet sauce. My son had Pork Lo Mein which he said was great. The egg drop soup was excellent! We have found our weekly go to with nice lunch specials and friendly staff. Our pick up order was ready on time and still warm when we got home. Thank you so much!!“

“The food was amazing. I had ordered szchewan tofu. They had cooked the tofu and the veges perfectly. Everything was freshly cooked even though we were there at 8:30 at night. My friend had ordered chicken fried rice and soup. Equally delicious. Very satisfying dinner. The kid that brought the food out was nice too.“

“Good, cheap, fast…and also plentiful. The combo dinner comes with rice and an egg roll and for some would be enough for two meals for under $12. Everyone is so nice and the food is tasty. Ask for spice and you will get it. They lit me up in a good way :-)“

“Never been let down by Super Wok. Food is always ON POINT, fresh and delicious. Really hearty serving sizes, too. My partner and I will split a combination platter of General Tso chicken, and still have leftovers. They're very wonderful folks there, too. Back during the snowpocalypse that hit us a few years back, he was still out delivering food to people in the neighborhood!! Super Wok is the ONLY Chinese place I'll go to. The crab rangoons are fire.“

“One Question: Who the hell keeps burning the fried noodles? Everytime! Not once, not twice but 5 times. NO NO NO NO If everyone is afraid to be honest with the cook NO worries. I've spent a lot of money here. My weakness is hot & sour soup & you continue to ruin it for me. JUST STOP! I don't know if u think they should be scorched or u just don't care but please take care of this situation cause it's hard to understand how most of your dishes are excellent then something simple like frying noodles you fail at.“

“They always give a ton of fresh, well steamed veggies in the sautée dishes. The shrimp are huge and they aren't stingy with them. Every item I got was great, everything tasted fresh and well seasoned. The fried items tasted like they replace the oil often, not funky or burnt at all. They got the order done super quickly and were very polite on the phone answering questions I had.“

“I received a coupon in the mail so I visited panda express here in Hendersonville for the first time. I took my son and niece to enjoy the teriyaki chicken bowls. They loved it. The restaurant was the cleanest restaurant. I think I’ve been in. Everything looked brand new. The general manager and staff were also super friendly. Definitely recommend.“

“Wonderful food and very friendly family owned restaurant. Been driving 20+ minutes out of our way to eat here for several years now. Husband says they have the best general tso’s chicken. I love everything but have to say I really enjoyed their moo shu vegetables recently. They are such a nice family. #supportlocal“

“This is where we go for Chinese Takeout now. Started here when we moved, then switched to Fortune House which went downhill around covid so then it was Peking House, had issues so switched again to Ming. They started having issues so back to China Wok for now. The best Chinese takeout in town is China Cottage but they have been closed and it takes to long to get home with it, plus they have been closed for renovations.
China Wok is the next best and should probably have been four stars but I added one star for all the one star reviews coming from people that don't realize all the battered fried chicken at takeout places with the exception of sweet and sour and lemon chicken come from the same food service supplier. All of it. It's the same for every takeout place in town except Panda which has their own supply chain. Yes, it's mostly batter and the crab rangoon doesn't contain real crab which was a real shock. /s
China Wok is generous with portions including the meat and is a good value in my opinion.
Don't take my word for it, just look at the char siu pork and vegetable photo. This is a usual portion. If you get soup and a couple apps you can easily split an entree.
The soups and appetizers are usually pretty good if they don't burn the crap out of the boneless spare ribs. Fried wings in particular are great, I eat them with mumbo sauce which I wish they had but they don't so I make my own. Ma Ploy spring roll sauce or Underwood Ranch sriracha for most everything else.
Other condiment suggestions (since the little packs are not good) would be gold plum Chinkiang vinegar and lots of white pepper.
Shrimp can be a little gummy sometimes but still better than Peking House where all the proteins are always gummy.“

“We loved this place. We had a good chat with the owner (co-owner, I think), very nice guy. The food was amazing. Way better than your average place. Especially loved the Shanxi Sliced noodles & the pork & cabbage dumplings. I totally recommend both of these. Definitely going back. I really can't say enough nice things about this place. Please try it.“

“We got there with minutes before they closed, but they said not to worry. Just not to order anything crazy big so they could finish with the end of shift routine. The food was what you'd expect from any Chinese buffet. It's good, but it taste like all the other options. The price was good. The service was excellent. They could have just said no more orders.
I was in no way complaining. I was thankful you served us. Because you could have just said no. Please read that again. I closed with "the price was good. The service was excellent. They could have just said no more orders"
But you guys went that extra step and made a couple people happy. I don't see where I'm complaining about any of it.“
