“Well that night was a bad day for me I came over there with a Lyft ride and The driver of course even though I had already paid for my ride decided that they wanted to leave me there and I'll come back but I hope I do believe in karma you get back what you dish out but usually karma comes back sevenfold so that being said I had a bad day that night however the people there the employees and I think the owner they were great with me they made sure I was okay and they tried to call me down and anyways they made no experience a little bit better and a lot more tolerable anyways I'll handle with myself I'm going to contact them tomorrow about that situation anyways but other than that the food was great they're very kind-hearted people there that restaurant are good people very good people“

“I just dropped by to pick up a quick lunch & ordered the egg fried rice… Wow! Literally 10/10 perfectly cooked & delicious. I’m eating my lunch as I type this & it’s already hitting the spot. Y’all made my Monday, thank you! ☺😋“

“They need to work on something when you go to a buffet all the other customers are touching the same spoons and they're not washing their hands of sanitizing I was kind of spectacle but I got my eyebrow Waze don't know if I would visit again“

“This was my wife's idea. I know, shocking that a wife can decide where to eat. LOL It was an excellent choice. We ate way more that we needed, but wanted to try multiple things on the menu. This ain't exactly what we usually eat, and wanted to hone in on what we order for future visits. I'll just get the beef soup next time, but with extra beef. It was delicious. My wife will get a steamed bun and we'll share seared pork and cabbage dumplings.“

“Brandie was AMAZING! she has great work ethic and was so attentive to our table. when something went wrong, she never showed any signs of irritation and took care of it with a smile on her face. she was a 10/10 server and i will be requesting her from now on, as should all of you. #BRANDIEONTOP“

“Me and my boyfriend came here today and our minds were blown, I love all Thai food and hadn’t had much in Nashville. We got the shrimp dumplings 7/10, Bao BBQ 6/10 the curry mussels appetizer and wow 1000/10 the perfect amount of garlic (which is a ton) and an amazing kick of heat we hadn’t ever had anything like it my boyfriend said they were the best mussels he’s ever had and I agree! I’m a Penang curry girl but since it’s only on Saturday I tried the masa curry since it’s Thursday and it was very good! The service was awesome and it’s very homey inside which we loved. Easily the best Thai in Nashville we will be back often!!“

“Love Ms. Cheap’s articles on smart shopping! We love seeing her at Ladies of Charity during our Clothing Consignment Sales in Spring and Fall…and our indoor estate sale mid summer called Stuff Galore. 2216 State Street across from Jimmy Kellys Steakhouse!“

“Ms Jennifer was the manager on shift when my family and I first tried PF Chang’s. The dining experience her and her staff presented and gave us was remarkable. Food was amazing and served in a decent time. She also made her way around our table multiple times asking how we were doing ensuring that we had the best dining experience. I’ve been back multiple times since then.“

“Been my favorite for 27 years ,great service and wonderful food . My granddaughter's favorite after school ," let's grab a snack " ,speaks volumes.“

“Meet noodles was a wonderful surprise. I slurped up their shrimp wonton noodle soup and it was so good. I did add a good helping of the chili oil. The star of the order was their spring rolls though. Order multiple orders of this because the flavors are beyond great!!!“

“Great place to eat I’ll stop and eat here at least 3 times a week not once has it let me down owner is extremely friendly food is delicious and service is fast great place to get food for the family or a quick bite menu ranges from fantastic meat dishes to delicious vegetarian options 12/10 will keep on coming back“

“A great treat from beautiful China… A cultural experience in sampling the variety of choices (and there are many) you are given to make your selection. I have been eating at this restaurant for over seven years now and it is by far my most favorite Asian cuisine. Not only is the food exceptional, the service too is SUPERB!!! The last time I was there Gilda (aka Gina) was my waitress. She is extremely customer oriented, friendly, professional and always works to get your food out to you in a timely manner. If an error is made in the placement of your order she will do all within her power to correct it and make it right for the customer. Another waitress to ask for when you arrive is Julia. If you are visiting or just passing through Nashville I highly recommend China Cottage. Out of 5 Stars on the scale of 1 - 5 I give them a. “5”. ???“

“The staff are friendly and efficient. Staying on top of the buffet and drinks.

The food is good as far as a usual chinese buffet goes with a good selection of options. If you like these types of buffets, then in general you'll like this.

Do not come in expecting some revolutionary dining experience. There's a tradition and pattern to this and they follow it well.“

“I’ve eaten here several times and always get the hunan chicken. Let me just say, I don’t typically go for super spicy foods (this dish is very spicy) but it’s SO good that I’m willing to suffer through the pain! The egg rolls are always great and the staff are SO friendly.“

“I use door dash on the app Rice box doesn't not allow special instructions at all . I place a call to Rice box they said my food was already done it wasn't but a few minutes after I placed order.. when the order got picked up they said that it was cooked extra spicy and extra crispy. pitched the food will not be back.“

“Great service, AMAZING food!!“

“Excellent food. I ordered the Chicken with vegetables. It was the best! I loved the freshness of the vegetables, the sauce was delicious.. We got excellent service and we love the new owners. It was a wonderful lunch. I can't say enough good things about it. You have to try it for yourself.. It was a joy to eat there. We had such a great time.“

“I was eating there sometimes and the place looks very nice and comfortable, the food its rich portion and tasty, I can recommend for everyone cause is family and friendly, the staff is very nice, I really love that place anytime you can enjoy it. 100% 💯“

“The best place for fast Asian food in Nashville. Has not changed in over 20 years.“

“We ordered online and picked up in store. Food was ready in 15 min. 2 orders of tofu, spicy and general Tso , 2 orders of lo mein , 6 spring rolls and donuts. Y'all... This was SO GOOD! Ate til I was full yesterday, ate some for lunch and now last bit for dinner. So much food! And y'all .Those donuts...were .. AMAZING! EVERYTHING WAS GREAT! We don't eat meat so can't comment on meat dishes but highly recommend! So happy they are around the corner from us , we will be going here more often! Lady was so nice during pick up , just great and quick good thank you!“

“Ordered the Chicken and Broccoli. It was fantastic. Great flavors and not too salty. The egg rolls were delicious. Not a thing wrong. No in-house delivery so I had to go through Door Dash.

The crab rangoons were also very tasty! Would order again.“

“Always a comfortable setting and the atmosphere entices eating.“

“This was my very first time ordering DoorDash from China Wok, and if I could give them 1,000 starts for the freshness and great taste I would!! So I'm giving them 1,000 stars!!!! My food was so hot when it arrived I was so amazed and pleased! I work from home so I didn't have time to go out and get lunch! Shout out to the DoorDash guy Steven as well!! He needs 1,001 stars! 😂 Thank you China Wok, I appreciate you! 🫶🏽“

“Super Wok's Chicken Lo Mein, Sesame Chicken, and Beef With Broccoli are all phenomenal dishes. Their food always hit never miss. I dine in at Super Wok once per month or I order for delivery. A friendly clean restaurant and atmosphere. On DoorDash if you order a certain amount of food Super Wok will give you a $9.00 discount.“

“This is a quick place to get quick snacks for the kids. The kids saw someone with the tanghulu so they must have one each as well. It was $8.20 for one tanghulu each. The tanghulu was already premade so she handed us after we paid for it within two minutes.

They also have boba tea and food. The prices seem a little high for the food received.“

“I really enjoyed my dining experience with them you get a lot of food it's always hot they're very pleasant and the prices are really reasonable definitely recommend I just wish that they would update this restaurant it's been the same way since 20 01 through different owners but it needs to be repainted in either gray or black the chairs and tables have to go if they made it a nice looking environment I think more people would come it just looks kind of trashy“

“Been looking for a classic east coast style take out place for years, and have found nothing….till now! Chicken was hot, crispy, and delicious(even after the 15 minute drive home). General Tsos actually has a kick to it, like it should. Daughter and father combo working the place are super sweet and are legit. Menu is permanently on my fridge. This place could be a problem for me.“

“Wonderful food and very friendly family owned restaurant. Been driving 20+ minutes out of our way to eat here for several years now. Husband says they have the best general tso’s chicken. I love everything but have to say I really enjoyed their moo shu vegetables recently. They are such a nice family. #supportlocal“

“TLDR; Great food! Don't be scared of the building!
We were super skeptical about this place when we pulled up, but oh boy where we wrong! It was definitely a takeout Chinese food place, and had all of the old food pictures on the wall, and the exact menu as any other cheap Chinese food place. The mixed reviews had me worried they were going to be garbage but folks, I could not be more wrong!
The food was absolutely delicious! I got sesame chicken combination and my partner got Orange chicken combination, which both came with fried rice and egg rolls. We got drinks added on and the bill was under 30$! I *wish* i had gotten an order of crab rangoon because I just know that would have been put of this world. Everything was super hot and fresh out of the kitchen, with thick flavorful sauces! Everyone said the rice was old in other reviews but my rice was absolutely perfect 👌 The egg rolls were crisp and left us wishing we had more!
Forgive the pictures because we did eat it in the car at 9 pm, but you could easily take it home or to a park to eat. But be warned! Our portions were absolutely huge and we had to bring the rest home!“

“I just ordered my normal, chicken noodle soup w. extra chicken and a shrimp egg roll. It was amazing as normal and they are super quick with your order. I recommend this Chinese restaurant for anyone in north Nashville. They’re pretty awesome“

“Ordered a large Beef Lo Mein. The food was pretty good but it won’t knock your socks off. The noodles were well seasoned and had great texture, the veggies were good, but the beef could have done with a little more seasoning. For the price, it definitely hit the spot. I wish it wasn’t fried in shortening, but if I wanted a health forward meal, I would've gone somewhere else. The lady working the front counter was nice. Would give it like 4.3 stars but since that’s not an option, we’ll round it up.“

“The food is so delicious although I had my Chinese fix already, I had to return for my son who wanted the same thing I had a couple days ago. Not too pleased with placing my card for payment in your hands and you placing it on the counter, where’s the mutual respect, not cool. Very pleased with the fact that I ordered diet shrimp and broccoli and inquired about garlic sauce. They added it no problem. Pros and cons I suppose. They were friendly enough today (I got the sisters mixed up). The vegetable fried rice here is my fav in Nashville, no one and I mean no one does it better! And the soft fried teriyaki chicken is everything coming from a real fatty!! The portions are plentiful, the broccoli was not over cooked and the flavor of the dishes is simply delish. I am very big on customer service, but all things considered, especially in 2025, I will definitely be going back. Give them a try. The food does not disappoint.“

“Have not been in a few years due to covid and personal illness. Decided to go as we use to do Sundays all the time. Very clean, choices were numerous and all tasted really good. Fresh watermelon was so sweet & good. Better food than Pucketts for sure.“

“The workers were friendly and the food was delicious. Unfortunately they didn't have two of our entrees ready, but it tasted even better after a short wait since it was just cooked and hot off the wok. The restaurant and bathroom were very clean.“
