Friday night is definitely one of the best nights to visit! The staff is fantastic, the drinks are top-notch, and the food is simply wonderful. Highly recommend for a great night out!

Food is excellent. Service not precise. Appetizers were not put in. Asked a second waiter and received half way through entree. Ordered extra sushi items. Asked original waitress at bar again and that too showed up eventually. Great food. Poor bar waitress attentiveness.

Great service, nice entrees, fish portions very small given price even small for maki and nigiri portions. Price was to be expected but more than double traditional nashville sushi restaurants. We would recommend but definitely warn about price tag.

The service was slow, additional requests took forever to make it to the table, our appetizer ticket was lost so we were comped with free dessert. However, the waiter brought two dessert menus, we chose what we wanted assuming both were being comped, only to find out we were charged for one of the desserts. Super disappointing and not at all the level of customer service we expected. Food was great but not sure we'd go back based on that first impression. Lots of other choices for sushi around. Total time at the restaurant was two hours and we weren't drinking. Way too long for a casual sushi dinner.

We had made reservations a couple of weeks ago and still had to wait 20 minutes for table. Server barely spoke to us and rarely made an appearance. It took 15 minutes to get our drinks. I had put on reservations we were celebrating a birthday and no mention of it. Two of the sushi rolls were very good however the tuna and avocado rolls were half the size they usually are and the avocado was not much bigger than 1/4 inch. When server did come back to table she never took plates away. Nice ambiance but terrible service!

Last night, I had the pleasure of dining at Blue Sushi Sake Grill ,and it was an experience that I won't soon forget. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and an inviting atmosphere that set the tone for what turned out to be an exceptional evening. The service was nothing short of amazing. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, always ensuring that we had everything we needed. He took the time to explain the menu, suggesting sushi rolls based on our preferences, and their genuine enthusiasm for the food made me even more excited to sample the options ! Now, let's talk about the food. The quality of the sushi at Blue Sushi is truly remarkable. We started with tge Chard edamame, I urge you to order both the non spicy and regular char so yummo! Then we ordered a few rolls I can't remember the names unfortunately BUT each roll was melt in your mouth delicious ,Fresh and expertly made by the sushi chefs behind the beautiful sushi bar in the back of the restaurant. Overall, Blue Sushi Sake Grill exceeded my expectations in both service modern hip AMBIENCE ( great music playing )and culinary excellence!

Overall, a great date night spot and delicious option for sushi! The bartender was super friendly and helpful. Only reason for 4 stars is because it is on the pricier side for sushi.

The staff is excellent! Assistant manager introduced himself and made sure everything was good. The server, Hannah S was fantastic. She had great suggestions and was very attentive. The mango rangoons were the best I've ever had. The spider maki was not up to my standard...hardly any soft shell crab inside...however, everyone else's rolls were great. The raspberry chocolate dessert was decadent and refreshing ! The only thing we were not thrilled with was the noise level. Not a great place to go for a quiet dinner at all. Music was a bit too loud to really enjoy quiet conversation. We felt Like we were yelling at times. Atmosphere would have been much better with softer music......we are old, so probably not the best to pass judgement! All in all a definite win for Blue sushi!

My son said the atmosphere feels a bit like you’re in a John Wick movie and I agree. It’s a cool vibe but the food is the real show stopper. The food is visually stimulating and delicious. I’m already looking forward to our next visit.

Highly recommend. Great food and service. We ate on the patio, which is covered with a pergola system that (I believe) can be closed. Very comfortable even on a day in the mid-80s. The music was a bit more techno than I care for, but the vibe was casual and fun. Food was wonderful. The tuna tower was fantastic, and so was the Beach roll (though pretty spicy). I'd probably skip the tempura fried rolls (Hotel Cali and Hawaiian) next time, but they were good for what they were. There were a lot of other rolls that I want to go back and try including some of the vegan ones that looked delicious, and I'm not vegan/vegetarian. Cool artwork with a lot of Godzilla. One word of caution: there seemed to be a LOT of spicy options. Fine for me, but if you're averse to spicy dishes, I'd take a look at the menu before booking. All in all a wonderful dinner. We'll be back.

This place is all polish and no substance. While service was good the food was a disappointment. The food was presented well but the quality and taste was disappointing. I get better sushi from my locally owned Thai & Sushi spots. We will not be back.

Came in to order a spider roll to go and had what can only be described as one of the most unintelligent conversations with the hostess, after giving my phone number and telling her my name I was given 20 minute wait and was told that they’d call me when my order ready. After waiting in the car for 25 minutes and no call I go back in to get my order which was waiting, for a single roll with additional eel sauce was just over $20 and I was ready to go. Once I actually stopped to have the roll I was greeted with an eel sauce cup that wasn’t even a quarter full and what was definitely the worst tasting spider roll I’ve ever had. For the price I would expect something at least twice as good as what I’d usually find in a hole-in-the-wall restaurant but nope, I certainly won’t be returning to this place. For all the raving reviews and nice interior the most important part of the restaurant, the food, was overpriced and rather disgusting.

My husband and I went to dinner here for date night and it was AMAZING! The food was like heaven, the wait staff fun and helpful (especially Tatum), and the atmosphere was great. Will definitely be coming here again and again!

We drove all the way to this location downtown at 5th & Broadway in Nashville and paid the garage parking fees just to do patio experience. My friend and I had planned this day in advance to catch up. We asked the host to sit outside as the restaurant was super slow. He took me to go outside but the door was locked. He said that the patio must be closed today and made us sit inside without checking with the manager. We sat down. The very next customers to come in, he took them outside!? We felt singled out as he took several others outside during our dining experience that he must have asked to unlock the door for. Our expectations were dismissed and I felt very disappointed in the whole experience. We passed up many other restaurants with patios to come here. The host did not try to make our expectations heard. He made me feel like our plans didn’t matter. I do not feel that he cared at all.
