We enjoyed the sushi so much! Quiet enough to have a good conversation, although not overly formal. Ryan was a great server and we hope to bring the littles back!

Excellent happy hour and dinner. Service was also fantastic . . . Faith was impressively knowledgeable of the menu and could not have taken better care of us. We thought she was a manager.

First and foremost, majority of our experience was incredible at blue sushi sake grill. Our sushi and service were incredible. The price was very reasonable for what we got and all the raw rolls were very fresh.
My 3 stars is because of the hostess. We specially requested an outside table for our dinner reservation. Upon arriving, we were sat inside and I asked about the outdoor tables as there were multiple available, hardly anyone was outside. She very rudely said that we couldn’t sit outside and if we did, we wouldn’t be served. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all, reservation not needed, so I’m not sure what the issue was. I work in service and was very disappointed by the hostess’ behavior. It’s a bad look when the first point of contact is rude and not accommodating. I also understand being flexible so we sat inside during sunset for our date night.
Our server, on the other hand, was absolutely wonderful and had great recommendations. Most of the bad reviews on here are in regard to staff and I think that should be addressed in house.

So of the best sushi my wife and I have ever had. Which was surprising to find great sushi this far in land.

The food is really good here, it may just have been the time of day we went but food took an extraordinary long time to come. It was very very good, but I would time it differently to see if the food came any sooner
The atmosphere is funky and modern, dim lighting with pictures of Godzilla and other things all over. Much more hip than I consider myself.
The server was really good, constantly coming by and refilling waters and checking in. Not so much to be bothersome either.
The menu can be a little overwhelming, as the choice of sushi is vast and I am unlearned in the terminology, take your time and ask questions.

Worst Sushi Experience of My Life (My Relationship Barely Survived)
Blue Sushi Sake Grill in Franklin — where $165 worth of “food” was so bad they comped most of it, and we still walked out feeling robbed. My date and I came here for what was supposed to be a nice sushi night. Instead, we got the culinary equivalent of a breakup text. The sashimi (maguro, sake, yellowtail, uni, basically the greatest hits of disappointment) tasted like it had been thawed out in a hot car. The Rainbow Roll? More like the Beige Roll, because it had all the color and excitement of a DMV waiting room.
The miso soup was served cold. That’s not fusion, that’s confusion. The Hot Sake at $9 was the best thing we had… which is basically just warm booze in a cup. That tells you everything. Literally luke warm at best. The shishito peppers? Ten bucks to play Russian Roulette with sadness. I never knew you could mess up a ginger salad but I believe they forgot to add the actual ginger salad dressing.
Final bill? $165 worth of regret “discounted” to $60.60, which is about $60 too much for the worst sushi experience I’ve ever had. Honestly, the receipt looks like it survived a Black Friday clearance sale.
If you’re considering a date night here, don’t. Unless, of course, you’re trying to test the strength of your relationship. In that case, congratulations, you just found the ultimate loyalty challenge.
