The cut of sea bass we received was not ideal and wasn't cooked very well. Had an odd texture. The butterfish also wasn't prepared well and looked like it had fallen apart. Overall the fish dishes were very mediocre especially for the price. The sea bass at Stoney River is far superior. Our waiter was not very attentive either after he took our order we didn't see him again until our meals arrived during which time we all needed drink refills and wanted more bread but even though he walked by and should have seen our empty glasses he do not bring refills until we had to ask when our food was delivered.

Only complaint is the bar service. They are always extremely slow and always out of what they have on the menu. Tonight it was not crowded at all and still took a while for the drinks and then they say they could not make an old fashioned because they were out of bitters. What bar is out of bitters? They couldn't go next door and buy a bottle? Their beer selection has no craft beers, IPAs, or Pale Ales. Simply the big domestics. Everything else is great but they really need help at the bar.

Bonefish Grill in Franklin is always one of our favorites. Love the bang bang shrimp and other menu items. Winter White Cosmo is an annual favorite and old-fashioneds are always a hit. Thank you, Ryan B, who took care of us tonight!!!

It was first time going and the place was rather empty - 5 or 6 guests and plenty of staff. The server was kind however she rushed through explaining the new menu and the best experience. It was clear she wanted to be away from our table. We ordered our items, I asked about coffee products she said they only had coffee (no other products, her words exactly). I ordered a coffee, she did make it fresh I appreciate that. When I asked for a dessert menu I noticed there was cappuccino and expresso on the menu. She "Ohh, we are out of milk, would you like an expresso?" I ordered and an expresso. I would personally ordered that first. Hence the reason I asked about a coffee products specifically. My husband's water NEVER got filled up and at all, and he finished it before he finished his first course. We were seated near the bar area, and the last booth was completely occupied with the staff relaxing and enjoying themselves as if there were no patrons in the building. On the other side there was couple who only had bread in front of them, and as I walked by they said "Food is great here, is it" (tongue in cheek, of course) However our server did come and check on us frequently after our food arrived, (never offered my husband more water or me more coffee) she did make suggestions about not adding sauces on top and made substitutions. Those suggestions were valuable . I was just a bit taken by surprised by the laid back feel "in front" of the customer. I have worked in food service, it can be grueling working with the public. The whole atmosphere was very unprofessional. We will not be back.

You can't go wrong with Bonefish. Great menu with something for everyone! The fish is always prepared perfectly! The staff is great! We always go early and it isn't very busy. I hope the people from Franklin and Brentwood haven't forgotten this original gem! Always an exceptional experience for great value! Thanks to the entire bonefish team!
