Service is always super friendly and I’ve always been happy with the crab Rangoons & sesame chicken.

Would say this was the worse Chinese food I have had in my 52 years. The egg roll was soaked in oil and the pepper steak, well I cannot describe the flavor. Dumplings was ok, but the sauce they include opened up during transit because they used a cheap lid.

Yuck. Based on the menu I had high hopes. I get home with my food and we serve it up. Nice portions but that was about it. The Orange Chicken was in a sauce that must of come out of a bottle as that color doesn't exist in nature. I had the Pork in Garlic Sauce and my wife had Chicken in Garlic Sauce ... neither had any flavor. The worst was the fried rice. It tasted like it had been cooked in OLD oil It was HORRIBLE. The only bright spot was the Hot and Sour Soup which was some of the tastiest I have had since moving back to middle TN. Won't be back, except maybe for the soup.

These spring rolls are minuscule! Same prices a lot less quality food. This is just insane, our entire order was like this. It just made me laugh to think that they actually thought that they could get away with this. Pathetic.

They give less food prices have went up. Soup taste like dishwashing liquid. You don’t get your money worth. Before these new owners took over it was good. Nothing good about it anymore. Good luck

Ordered shrimp in lobster sauce with white rice. I received fried rice instead of white rice. They would not answer the phone and I was advised upon picking up my order that they turned their phone off due to being out of broccoli. Will not be returning.

I was over charged for food that they refused to take responsibility for. When i got my delivery i noticed my order was not complete. I called the store the gentleman instead of helping me he starts arguing with me over a $4 dollar item. I been a customer for 13 years and never been treated like this. You just lost a long term customer for four dam dollars. wow

This used to be good but the changes make it the worst in town. Chicken on a stick was just tossed in a bag with no sticks. The fried pork wonton was tiny pieces with very little meat. Not a cheap lunch just cheap quality. Gave us two tiny napkins. And to top it off obviously a meal for at least two and the cheap owner gave one fortune cookie! Never again. ?

Enjoyed takeout lunch very much! Favorite thing was hot & sour soup and chips. Moo Goo Gai Pan with chicken was very good. Will ask for white rice next time. That is a good comfort dish for women. I will be back!

The food is outstanding and an excellent price. Hands down my favorite Chinese Restaurant in Franklin.

Maybe I am just hungry but I swear the food was so good I would work there for free just to eat. Prepared perfectly. Very well done china gourmet

I live in Manchester and started working in Franklin about 6 years ago. I work mainly 2nd and 3rd shift so mostly bringing my dinner to work, I usually treat myself to good local food once a week. China Gourmet had never disappointed, until recently. Their food has gone downhill dramatically and the prices have gone up. 3 months ago, 4-5 stars. Now, not even 1. I asked if there were new owners and where was the guy who usually worked the counter. They told me they were under néw management and he had gone back home. I assumed they meant China but he was raised here and went back to Las Vegas.Throughly disappointed in their new quality...

This place has fallen off big time, which is sad because it was once a great place... The yumyum signs are a dead give away there slipping, seems like new ownership! Save your money during lunch and try HotWok across from it, and ChopStix off downs for dinner..
