Food was good. Service at the counter was fine. We went on Christmas Eve a couple of hours before they were set to close. They were already cleaning everything. I get it, everyone wants to go home early, but don't let that impact your service. While we were eating, they were mopping the floors in the dining room (left pretty wet on a slippery surface), turned off the soda fountain and removed the nozzle, and covered up the main trash cans and put a small one in front to use....
The chips arrive with the enthusiasm of a week-old tortilla left on the counter—stale, every single time, like clockwork. Yet here I am, stubbornly DoorDashing my lunch from this place order after order, which is the only reason I'm graciously awarding three stars instead of the one or two it truly deserves on the chip front. Come on, Chipotle: fresh chips aren't a luxury, they're a non-negotiable Mexican restaurant basic. No bueno.
The food tasted good. The staff all seems very new to Chipotle, and the portions were significantly less than other nearby locations. I’ll probably go to the others for a while and hope the portions begin to meet others.
