Tim and his staff are a Staple in Williamson County. So many people have enjoyed the experience of your amazing restaurant. I hope to hear what you are up too. Tammy Lynn Hill

Alas al l can offer is advice for others who want to eat here to call and make a reservation although they don't mention they take reservations not their website or this site. Due to what we were told is short staffing we were turned away. One of the recommendations provided when we asked for an alternative place was closed and looked to have been closed for a long time. Live and learn in these new 'post-pandemic' times.

We first visited Cool Cafe in June of 2021 and LOVED it. I was excited to share the restaurant with family as we passed through Tennessee again this year, unfortunately it was a complete disappointment. I called ahead to see if we could be accommodated, we were told 30-45 mins, which was fine! We showed up, were ushered to the back hallway, again, fine. The manager said, “this is the best I could do with the short notice.” (Exactly why we called ahead) We ordered our meals, were never informed of entrees missing items. Two of us ordered the steak wedge salads for our dinners. They came out at least 20 minutes before everyone else’s dinner. The menu stated a deviled egg would be served with the salad, it was not. I questioned this and the server said, “we don’t serve them anymore because the eggs are too expensive.” Would have appreciated being told this ahead of time. The salad price was not reduced even though a listed item was not available or substituted. When the rest of the parties entrees arrived it was just more disappointment. The catfish dinner was supposed to be served with hush puppies, a main reason why this dish was ordered, they were missing, when questioned the server said they were out, again, she did not tell us that when the order was initially placed. My husband ordered a 14oz ribeye to be cooked medium, it was very well done. There is nothing worse than paying top dollar for a mediocre dinner and a poor dining experience. Hoping things turn back around because we did enjoy it and were looking forward to coming again. Sadly, we would not give this place another stop.

My wife and I have been a few Sundays for lunch and it’s pretty good. The banana pudding is 5 stars. The other food is good. So we decided to try the steak night. It took a long time to get out food and my steak was very very tough. Worst steak I ever had actually. I won’t go back to steak night. Service was good it just took a very long time to get our food. Wife said about an hour.

Casual food line style. A little chaotic, maybe? Not as clean feeling as I'd like.Food was good but not great. Ordered meatloaf, mashed potatoes, corn & fried okra. Banana pudding. The mashed potatoes and banana pudding were gritty, in the way that instany potatY x z

Great food, and great service...Abby, our waitress, was very attentive and sweet. The back ground music was Sinatra, etc. and added to the ambiance nicely.

Great food but the one thing that keeps me from going more often may sound simple but when I go a restaurant I would appreciate metal utensils. Plastic utensils are ok for a picnic but wrong business decision for a sit down restaurant. Many friends have said the same thing. That change would not dramatically increase your business cost and would do tons for your reputation.

Great food! We had the fried chicken, mashed potatoes, black eyed peas, fried okra and peach cobbler. The food was very good and the staff was very nice. The absolute BEST cornbread EVER!!

I was in Franklin last night. Feeling hungry, I decided to try this little hole in the wall restaurant. On the exterior, they bragged about it being steak night. Traditionally, they started as a meat and three. Steak night is good inducement to get me to try restaurant. So we went in. It's not a fancy place, but it is rather intimate with candlelight on the tables. And casual attire was perfectly fine for the occasion. After reviewing the menu, we opted for Wisconsin cheese curds with marinara as an appetizer. They weren't a huge wow factor, but they were tasty and apropos for appetizer. Where the meal really got good was selecting the ribeye. The ribeye was pan seared to your preference. A lot of options for sides are on the menu. I settled for a baked potato loaded and their seared carrots. The hungry bear opted for their mashed brussels sprouts and the baked potato. He absolutely loved the Brussel sprouts! The carrots tasted as though they had been seared on a grill with just a slight reduction balsamic sauce. Absolutely divine. Both of the baked potatoes were very generous and cooked well with actual bacon, sour cream, butter, and green scallions. But the ribeyes were the absolute star of the meal. To say they were good is a gross injustice of description. The pan searing with rendered bacon made them incomparable in flavor. Both steaks were moist, tender, perfectly cooked and delicious. The service was stellar. We were sat almost immediately. The restaurant was impeccably clean. However, I would not make this a frequent visit as $39 a plate for ribeye isn't doable every day. I would definitely come back now and then for a nice treat. I was too full to try dessert. But I understand that they are famous for their banana pudding! Maybe next time!

Delightful staff and delicious food. The best meat and 3 in town. The fried porkchop is a gamechanger. In and out for lunch in less than 30 minutes. Highly recommend.

Loved the steak & wine night. We also enjoyed the jazz music playing in the background.

The food was really high quality, fresh and delicious. I had a grilled chicken sandwich and a baked potato. Hubs got a filet and Caesar salad. Really yummy. Fun atmosphere on Friday night. Would go back for sure!

I LOVE steak night! It's made in a cast iron skillet, so it has a really nice edge while still being tender. Also, their baked potatoes absolutely rock my world. I wish I would have taken a picture of mine - but take my word for it, it was just as big as the steak. They're famous for their banana pudding (which is great!) but I think the real gem is their bread pudding
