Had pork chops which were thin and fried. Tough. It was 11am and they did not have grits when the meals came. Had to settle for mashed potatoes which took another 7-8 mins. Also did not have biscuits but only after I had finished my lunch. This was probably almost an hour after we ordered. Poor.

My mom enjoys Cracker Barrel and as a result, I’ve eaten there about 8xs a year for the past 3 years. We often meet up with my sister and brother in law so you have 4 people with different dietary needs. I can happily share we’ve had reliably good- delicious dinners and service. They do what they do well and managers and staff put pride in their work.

This particular visit was a meeting place for me. I use to eat Cracker Barrel's comfort food but it’s not same as it was. This visit was just a meet up. Connected with friends on the way to see Dolly Parton musical. Shopped finding a pair of sparkling boot earrings and bracelet to wear to musical.
