Drake's Cool Springs

Tried Drake’s for my first time, the Mrs. had been there before. But I was pleased. It was a seat your self vibe we sat bar side. The garage style doors were open and the cool evening air was inviting.
I feel our server was a bit overwhelmed. The table next to us had to flag her down and she never checked on us during our meal to see if we were good.
I had the California Cobb and the Mrs. had the Twin medallion steaks with broccoli. Everything was delicious. The steak I thought was a liiiiiiiittle dry but my wife was happy and that’s all that matters.

I walked in with my family today after a great day and we were all excited to eat here. Upon entering NOT ONE person greeted us as we watched 8 different people walk by for a good 12-15 minutes. It was DEAD in there with only 3 tables full of people. The bartender kept looking over, the servers all kept walking by doing tasks (AS WE SIT THERE STARING TO GET SOME TYPE OF ACKNOWLEDGEMENT) We will never ever eat here after the lack of service. I managed and worked in a restaurant for 8 years (still do) and I’ve never experienced such a terrible lack of service. My uncle even had to go up to the manager and ask for someone to finally serve us. We were so over it by the time we got someone that we left. Do better Drakes!! You should know better, you greet EVERY customer within 5 minutes!! At least some type of acknowledgment!! Maybe yall should go over some customer service and hospitality rules because you highly lacked it today!

Found this place on a late night headed back to our hotel and we are so glad we did! Definitely recommend and we will go back next year. The bartender (Hannah C) was very friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere was great. The menu provided a large variety of options and service was quick. Mushroom Swiss Burger with tots was delicious and the fried pickles were SO GOOD. It was just the perfect place to sit back, relax, get great food and enjoy the moment.

Food order came out over time, not real organized. I'm not crazy about Sliders. Waited a long time for the fries...???

The waitress on Saturday night did not seem like she wanted to be at work. She was not friendly, lacked hospitality skills and had poor customer service engagement skills as well. The food made us sick! We ordered their battered fish basket and were nauseous, had a stomach ache all night, diarrhea and felt lethargic. Do not eat here!

They have tons of menu options, and I went with the teriyaki chicken bowl. It was good, but the fried asparagus was hard to chew. Staff was friendly, but we never figured out who was actually our server…
