Great place. I watched a game here and sat the bar with a friend. The bartenders were pretty easy going and were able to make solid suggestions about food and drinks. If i'm in TN again, I would certainly swing by and grab a drink here.

Well outdoor seating was open and available, after calling to confirm , we packed the dog in the car and went ... met right away, seated and welcomed . Great cold beverage, the bangers and mash was off the chart! Great experience, excellent service and food on a beautiful day! No cons today!

The food here is delicious, and the atmosphere is awesome! I love places like this. Unfortunately, though, both times I have been here the service was horrible. Both times, me and and my family were one of the only few tables in the restaurant. It wasn’t busy at all. I had a different server both times, and each time they were the only server in the whole place. (Also acting as bartender) It was not crowded though, so this shouldn’t be a huge problem. The service was sooo slow, and the server messed up on some part of my order both times, and neither one of the servers had a personality at all. My drink was completely empty today for at least 15 minutes before we finally got the servers attention and I asked for a refill. The time before that...mine and my sisters food got cold waiting for drink refills that took forever. Basically...this place has SO much potential!! The atmosphere and design is beautiful and fun and the food is great. They just really need to train their servers, or staff more people.

The only thing that held me back from this place was the smoking. It was strong when you walked in the door, and you smelled like it if you chose to eat inside. Now that they've cleaned it, it's great. No sign of it. The food and specials were always great, and that did not change. Not many places offer the large portions for their prices. The specials are really good deals. Very hard to beat their fish and chips anywhere in middle TN. Highly recommend.

The quarantine has allowed the Abbey to improve several things from the atmosphere to the menu. I highly recommend stopping in for a cold drink (the Guinness was excellent), a good bite (try the Fiddle Sticks or the Trinity Sticks), or watch a good sporting event (they'll have all the soccer matches).Staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Atmosphere is closer to an English pub. Very clean. No smoking inside. Plenty of TVs. Plenty of parking. Great location.This may become my new "go-to" spot.

This place is in the midst of changing it's concept, so the ambience is not quite there yet. Coffee concept hasn't begun construction yet. Family friendly (3 families with kids here). Pub has a UK feel. Food is great! Fish and chips rock! I'll be back to check it's transformational progress and to see my daughter, Ashley who is the bar manager here now.

Fantastic lunch today at Franklin Abbey. Freshly remodeled, great environment and food was amazing. We had the fish and chips, Cobb salad and french dip, all were unbelievable. Today was a business luncheon, next time bringing the family. Kids and wife will love it.

The Franklin Abbey is awesome! Especially now that it is non-smoking! No more lung darts! The food is great and the beer is ice cold. Friendly staff with great service as well. So glad it reopened! Finally!
