5 Stars for Bakehouse!
I’ve been a loyal customer since they opened, and they’ve never disappointed. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming, and the food is consistently fresh and delicious. It’s my go-to spot for a quick, high-quality lunch at a great value.
Thank you, Bakehouse, for always delivering a great experience!
First time visiting and I had to write this as soon as I finished my breakfast. The BEST English muffin I've ever had! Wonderful service and excellent food and coffee. I'll definitely be back!
I usually never go in any of the new developments in Franklin for fear they will feel stuffy and unwelcoming. Wow! glad I gave this a try.
Matthew was so kind and patient as we navigated the menu. They took the time to answer questions and offered helpful suggestions. Not sure where you found this person but do everything you can to keep them.
I called back to the store and spoke to Karina(hope I spelled that right) and wow! Another super kind person. Guess you must be doing something right to attract these fantastic down to earth people.
Happy we found this place!
Everyone was welcoming and nice. I got a London Fog and it was amazing. Will definitely be back when I have the chance.
My first trip, and I love the location and building. Haven't eaten the tarts or cinnamon rolls, but they smell delicious. I'll come back later and add more.
Today we catered with BakeHouse and it was excellent. My personal favorite is the broccoli salad… I would give it 10 stars!!!
Great little bake shop, highly recommend even for catering!

Love this place so much!
My favorite thing here is their amazing cinnamon roll. I’ve enjoyed cinnamon rolls all over the country, and certainly all over Tennessee, but I have to say that the Franklin Bakehouse has the best. Anywhere. A textual description won’t do them justice…just go and get yourself one (or a few)!
My daughter is a big fan of their chocolate croissants, baguette bread and their sandwiches!
They have so many great menu items for breakfast and lunch. Coffee is excellent.
Staff is friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is very cozy and inviting!

Poor management, they have a water licking problem that turns out to be dangerous and you might fall, the GM doesn’t know how to handle a situation like that, so be very careful.

Great location, super cute inside, staff was friendly and helpful!
The quinoa salad was excellent. I took loaf of sourdough home and enjoyed it all week! Excited to go back and enjoy more bake goods!

Waited ~15 minutes for a latte. Brought it up with an employee and they were polite and immediately refunded it and promised me the latte would be right up. Super cool of them. However, another ~10 minutes later it was clear they forgot it again.

As frequent patrons of Franklin Bakehouse, my family have always enjoyed our visits and the tasty food they offer. The quality of their baked goods has consistently been top-notch, and we've come to appreciate the warm, welcoming atmosphere that typically greets us upon entry.
However, our most recent visit left us with a slightly sour taste that had nothing to do with the pastries.
The staff member who assisted us at checkout seemed to be having an off day. Their demeanor was noticeably different from the cheerful interactions we've grown accustomed to. Throughout the transaction, they mumbled under their breath, barely making eye contact, and appeared visibly annoyed when asked to step away from their phone to ring up our purchase.
What struck me as particularly disappointing was the lack of gratitude typically expressed by the staff. When I thanked them, the curt "No problem" response felt out of place, especially given that we're accustomed to being thanked for our patronage.
After completing our transaction, the staff member quickly retreated to lean on the counter, eyes glued to their phone screen, while another employee packed our pastries. This behavior seemed unprofessional and didn't align with the usually attentive service we've experienced at Franklin Bakehouse.
To make matters worse, our child pointed out something rather unsettling. The staff member was wearing a beaded bracelet with the words "I hate you" clearly visible. This choice of accessory was not only inappropriate for a customer-facing role but also contributed to the overall negative atmosphere of our interaction.
While one subpar interaction won't deter us from returning - the quality of their baked goods is still unmatched - we hope this was just an isolated incident. Franklin Bakehouse has always been a highlight of our Sunday mornings, and we look forward to more positive experiences in the future. However, we do hope that management will address the issue of appropriate workplace attire and demeanor to maintain the welcoming environment we've come to expect.

Miss the original bakehouse..
since the new owners took over , it has been disappointing from service to food and with exorbitant prices.
Went for breakfast this morning and never had such a terrible latte; my wife fell sick after having that. I think we may not go back there again.

Walked in here so excited that it’s a women owned business and was ready to splurge on some homemade goods! Very disappointed in how the staff treated my family and I. Not a welcome whatsoever and we had to tell them our order 3 times after waiting for 20 minutes. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and my brother ordered a chocolate cookie, not complicated at all. They must have overdone the cream cheese because it was all over the smashed foil inside. I won’t be coming back here again, so sad because I was really excited to try this place.
