If you are either a local or visitor looking for something off the beaten path of downtown Franklin or chains, please rush here for breakfast! I finally tried this place today & will be going back. Reminds me of so many ‘old school’ places that are disappearing. Had pancakes, bacon & a biscuit. Portion is what portions used to be! Everything is fresh & the staff are so friendly. I believe the pancakes are not on the official menu. Fast service and reasonable pricing
The food was ok. I got overcharged for my meal. I got hamburger steak and mashed potatoes and got charged 11.95. Portion size was very small. Got blt and fries. Barely any fries. But was small. Lady upfront was on the phone while I was trying to pay. If you are gonna charge these kind of prices you may want to serve more food. Food was very average. Not worth the price. Not going back

I eat at the Half Way Market & Diner at least 3-4 times a month. They are the best meat & 3 in the area and they have the best hamburgers I have had anywhere. The staff are great and very friendly. The tables are community style seating so if like meeting new people this is your place.
