Ok, to start, I’m still smiling about my dining experience at House of India. I met my work team there for dinner, coming in right on time to enjoy the SAMOSAS and GARLIC NAAN, which are two of favorites. It’s like my team knew what I wanted without having to ask.Since they had also ordered drinks, I chose to with a MANGO LASSI, which was a dream!! Refreshing, balanced and the perfect prelude to a glorious dinner. For my main, I had the GOAT BIRYANI and let me tell you…! The spices and flavors were so well balanced, each complimenting the other. I fell in love. I was ready to give the Chef my number, it tasted so good. That with the RAITA and a side of MANGO CHUTNEY…what more could I ask for? Oh, right, an order of the KASHMIRI NAAN to take home along with the other half of my food I was too full to finish there. I did save room for the KHEER, a basmati rice pudding flavored with almonds and pistachios. If I wasn’t so stuffed, I might have floated away.The Staff and Management were absolutely PHENOMENAL, as well! They joked with us, recommended all the right fixings around our orders while ensuring we were fully accommodated. It was a joy and pleasure to dine there and we all look forward to returning on our next work trip back to Franklin.Do yourselves a favor and get to HOUSE OF INDIA, as soon as you can! It is so delicious and so worth it! And if you happen to see me there, don’t stare, say hi and snap a photo, in case I forget to. :)*This is a time when I was so lovestruck by the meal and caught up in conversation that I did not get photos. So a next time is certain, to redeem myself.

We reached there about 9:30pm when they close the kitchen and once they said we can take a take away order but when we said that’s the only option so go for it. But they understood that we came from far (90 miles I live from there) they arranged the dine in and served hot and yum food. Mr Harvinder (If am not missing name) was really polite and nice person, we will go whenever we visit again.
Reminds me of the resteraunts I ate at when living in the middle east. The attention to detail, constant flow of water, excellent presentation, and very deep with flavor. This is my new favorite Indian restaurant!

What an amazing experience! I seldom if ever receive as high quality of customer service. They go above and beyond at this restaurant. The food was served hot and the flavors were intense and delicious. They were quick to top off our sauce, box, and bag our leftovers. Incredibly impressive and I highly recommend if in the area.

While I have convenienced this restaurant for years as a kind and patient customer myself, I have lately noticed some intentional subjective treatment and reception from the ownership/staff.I am not one to make hasty inferences, but considering it is my money that is a part of their ethnic-sharing gambit in more than just buffet costs, I feel it necessary to make clear that I have lately not been enjoying fully respectful treatment by this establishment.Pride, money, and politics rue my ability to simply even dine as a fully valued paying customer.But great food and nice ambiance...tread lightly but food is good.

Recently my wife and I hade the absolute pleasure of dining here. The first thing I noticed (as usual) is how clean the restaurant is. Absolutely impeccable. The staff was dressed very presentable and they were very warm and inviting. Than the food…. I can’t remember having a better Indian meal. They absolutely crushed it!!! The only consideration and I have to stretch to say this, is it’s a bit small for the popularity. This place is absolutely lightning in a bottle. Well done House of India!
