Coming from San Diego where there’s a plethora of ramen shops, this one was just okay. The broth was lacking depth of flavor and the char siu was sooo bad. It was tough and the burnt taste from flaming the outside of the meat was way too overpowering. I wouldn’t come back and order the ramen, however the donburi was good and I’d get it again. The boba drink is horrible. Pretty sure it’s just bottled juice that they pour into the cup. Service was fine.
Ate here for the first time last week. We ordered about 7 different things from the menu and shared because we wanted to just try a bunch. All of the appetizers we ordered were great! And came out quickly.
The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the ramen broth which I found to be very hearty, heavy on the boiled meat and sesame oil flavor even though I ordered the soy sauce broth. Was expecting that lighter, sweet/salty, fishy soy flavor. Was much more like a hearty soup....
I’ve passed by this restaurant countless times without giving it a second glance, but I’m so glad I finally stopped in! It’s definitely a hidden gem. The menu offers a fantastic variety of ramen options, along with tasty small tapas plates that make for the perfect appetizers. I ordered 3 small plates, 2 entrees, and a beer for just $58 (tip not included), which I thought was really fair for the quality and portion sizes.
