Jersey Mike's Subs

This review is to formally follow up on an incident that occurred during my family’s visit to your restaurant on December 27.

First, I would like to acknowledge that the staff was polite and respectful when concerns were brought to their attention. However, the experience itself was unacceptable from a food safety standpoint.

After dining in, we had to clean off our table and chairs before sitting. While eating our sandwiches, my daughter discovered a hair in hers. Shortly afterward, my brother also found a hair in his sandwich, which caused him to become physically ill and step outside to vomit.

When I looked toward the grill area, the employee who had prepared our sandwiches was actively cooking with her hair loose and swinging while chopping steak on the grill. I asked to speak with the manager on duty and pointed out that the employee should be wearing a hair net. The manager agreed but stated that “our boss doesn’t think we need them.”

Given basic food safety standards, this was concerning. My brother declined a replacement sandwich due to losing his appetite and requested a refund instead. I was told I would need to leave my phone number and that the owner would contact me regarding the refund.

As of today, I have still not received that call.

I work in HR and understand policy decisions, but food safety should never be optional. I hope this concern is taken seriously and addressed promptly perhaps after the holidays.

My daughter (8) recently was diagnosed with quite a few allergies. Jersey Mike’s is her favorite and she has been sad she hasn’t been able to have it. This location went over and beyond to make sure everything was kept clean while also having a smiling face and ensuring that she felt comfortable eating here! Thank you thank you! You made her day!

Shout out to Nicole for going above and beyond when I had an issue with the doordash delivery through the Jersey Mike's app. I so appreciate her help and making sure I got my order!!

Let me just say this was the skimpiest Jersey Mikes sandwich I have EVER purchased!! I asked for extra meat when I saw how little amount he was putting in the sandwich and it still was a little skimpy. Smh

Said their slicer was just calibrated but the meat was thine enough to see through! If I pay $20 for a sub I expect to be able to taste the meat more so than the bread

Awesome staff. Lord please bless the young lady that favors the pop singer Billy Eilish. She paid for a meal for me and blessed me with cash money because Im homeless traveling. Beautiful soul.

Absolutely horrible experience. I would suggest not eating here. Health and sanitary concerns out the yin yang.

I wish you could give zero stars. We ordered two sandwiches through Uber eats, and we only received one. We called the restaurant and found out that they are “training” someone and one of the sandwiches didn’t get put into the bag. So now I have no dinner AND we have to deal with Uber eats about the money. Jersey Mikes didn’t even offer any type of solution. So much for customer service. I love this restaurant, but we will not be ordering from there again. Worst customer service I have ever encountered.

The staff here is so sweet! They offered to wipe down the slicer for my husband, who’s a vegetarian. Very kind!! Highly recommend this location.
