2 employees working at the chicken stand in the back are completely rude, especially Ashley. Would not make any other food than what is sitting in the mostly empty worming bin at 1:00 pm.

This was my first time this location and it didn't disappoint. The chicken was fresh and hot nd the biscuits were great. You all need to show the people at the one on Bell Rd how to fry some chicken(there's sucked).

Its inside the shell station with hardly any visibility from the outside, but once you in you'll spot It right away. I usually come here for lunch, and Its usually a hit or miss. If you go around 12-1 chicken is hot and fresh, but after 130 its starts to get dry and rubbery. For the price you get so much more than you pay for, and the biscuit your meal comes with is just as good if not better than churchs. Yoy can never go wronf with their biscuits. They bread the chicken in the back before they deep fry it, and they usually have a dish specific to a day. Their catfish on fridays is outstanding, and their salisbury steak on mondays is wayyyyyy better than copper kettles next door. (I have tried them both) If you are looking for a good cheap place to eat, then I'd say this is the spot for you. Sorry for having read such a long review.

Whether you like fast food or hate it, you gotta admit there are a lot of people eating it. And when I find a good one I have to talk about it. Never would have thought I'd come across a good fast food chicken place inside of a Shell station. Krispy Krunchy Chicken is located inside the Daily's Shell station on Hermitage Ave in the downtown area. I stopped in for gas but the smell of fresh hot Cajun fried chicken made me buy more than a tankful. If you're a fan of Popeye's Chicken, Krispy Krunchy Chicken is every bit as good. Honestly, when I took my first bite of Krispy's Chicken I thought about Popeye's. I even had to go to the Krispy Krunchy web site to find out if they were owned by Popeye's. If you like a Cajun type recipe with the spices that are added to that style of fried chicken, you'll like Krispy Krunchy. I ordered a three piece with one side and a biscuit. The price was comparable to Popeye's. The side I had, red beans and rice, unfortunately was not as flavorful as Popeye's red beans and rice but I'll try the rice and beans again, maybe I came through on a bad day. However, Krispy Krunchy biscuits are nothing short of crack biscuits. Those of you that have tried Knock Out Wing's biscuits (on Jefferson Street) know what crack biscuits are. Knock Out's biscuits don't have anything on Krispy Krunchy biscuits! I'll be going back for more. Fast food places aren't known for the best service and Krispy Krunchy is no different but the food is pretty good and cheap... so... what can you do.
