This is not the store. This is by FAR the worst Kroger one can visit. A few weeks back, I was unfortunately shopping here and saw a CAT in the chips and snacks aisle. Now I'm not one to disparage on seeing the occasional feline friend but I wasn't happy to see this old and decrepit looking cat in a place that sells food. The lights are dim, the produce section has a strong musky smell, the self checkout is never open, and the service is relatively nonexistent at best. One is far more likely to experience a successful shopping trip at the dumpster in the back.Meow

There is a mask mandate in our county. The manager just told me they didn't know that! Bull.....

Shameful what you do with meat to charge your customers more money

What you have read in other folks' reviews fairly well sums up my experiences. Simply put, this is a large version of Kroger with lots of room to display items....but the aisles are convoluted IMHO. Walk in through the doors on the left front of the building and you will find yourself entering a nicely laid out fresh produce area, again with plenty of room between the displays. This is probably the highlight of any visit. Just past that area towards the rear of the store is the deli, mostly filled with Kroger's display of Boar's Head products...almost to the exclusion of other purveyors of cold cuts and cheeses. The actual cheese display is far smaller than the sister store in Westhaven, a few miles to the west, even thought he Westhaven store is smaller overall. (Perhaps, owing to a different clientele, might be the rationale for some aspects of both stores.) Then comes the bakery and, turning right....get lost in the maze of (again, IMHO) unrelated and aisles with not seemingly planned layout. Perhaps they are using the old ploy, "The longer you keep a customer in the store looking for things, the more they're likely to buy." If so...they've done a good job of confusing me. Staff is sometimes pleasant... sometimes aloof. It simply is not an enjoyable experience for me...and on a personal note...I *love* shopping for groceries and I do so for several families as well as a church mission. But....if it ain't fun, I ain't comin', back y'all.

My husband likes to go here because it's less for him to walk but they always have nothing we need. I have lived near it for 10 years and it's the only Kroger that's good for nothing at all. I am an avid WalMart shopper. WalMart restocks nightly and they pretty much have everything 99% of the time. This place has stuff 50-30% of the time. A lady complained about them not having what she wanted once near the cookie dough section and asked me while I was in there where I usually shop. I proceeded to tell her WalMart because they have stuff in stock all the time. She took my response to heart (I hope) and didn't reply. So if you are reading this and thinking about going here heed my wisdom.... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

We had to do a grocery run the other night and went to this Kroger. When we first got there, it seemed a little more like grocery stores of the past; kinda dingy. The layout was odd too. My husband and I both noticed that. Where diapers and baby items would usually be located nearer to health and beauty products, at this location, there were several aisles separating them. Same for other items on our list, but that's fine. We managed. As we made our way to the other side of the store for produce, there was a literal line in the floor and shelves where they looked like two different stores. The one side was the same ol' Kroger we'd been in and the other side of the line was where they'd remodeled at some point and stuck organic items. It was strange. The worst part was at checkout. A young man named Donovan was our cashier. He kept scanning items and wasn't bagging. I figured I'd help him out or risk our things being smashed by him pushing it all down the belt after scanning. Except, it wasn't "helping" at all. I was doing all of it. I didn't realize this until he looked at me then at my husband and handed him (or tried to) a large pack of bottled waters. My husband gave him a look and asked him, "Are you going to help her (me) at all?!" My husband was dealing with our toddlers near him in the basket and I was still bagging as fast as the cashier was pushing it my way. He just looked at my husband and said, "What?" I'd love to say he didn't help, but he overstuffed a bag of things that he put a large container of bleach in. That was literally all the "help" we got. Then, he missed the coupons I'd laid out and we'd already paid. My husband said, "Oh, you forgot these." Donovan said it was too late and we could come back later (another day at this point as it was now nearly 10pm). Oh, heck no. I've been to enough Krogers and Frys (Kroger-owned) to know that's a BS story he was giving. I spoke up and said there's a way to scan the coupons in and give us the difference, on a card or cash. He really didn't want to do this, you could tell, but went and found someone--a manager, perhaps? The guy did just that and we were out of there. We won't be coming back.

This is the Kroger that I use all the time. Great staff. I wasn't sure where a specific item was today and couldn't find it. I very quickly found an associate to point me in the right direction. Great management and great product selection.

The absolute worst. Understaffed, broken equipment, nonexistent management. Steer clear.

I was just at this Kroger last night (I shop here all the time) and I was 12 cents short of buying milk and pop tarts for my grand kids that I was unexpectedly getting for the weekend. (Yes, I still use cash.) The cashier, Alexis, took the money out of her pocket, even though I said I had some change in my car I'd go get, and she told me that was fine, she'd cover it. Kudos to her parents for raising an unselfish girl in this day and age. This was a great hire, Kroger! Thank You Alexis for helping an old grandma out.
