While visiting a relative who lives nearby, we had dinner here. I had the chop salad and it was wonderful -- very fresh. My wife tried the scout salad and added grilled chicken and enjoyed it. My relative had the fish and chips and found it tasty. Our server was very pleasant and checked in with often.

Had to wait for20 minutes to be seated while there were empty tables for two and only larger parties waiting to be seated. Waitress was polite and friendly. She took our order and waited for 40 minutes for and order of fish and chips which were average and a salad. The pub seamed short on staff with our waitress being the only one waiting on tables. Wouldn’t go back

Scouts is another example of the owner's knowledge of how to make his customers happy. Mr. Marshall has always done a great job of providing good food and service in his establishments, this is no exception. Its located along the front of a neighborhood and gets a lot of walk in and golf cart in diners. We've always liked it

My husband has had positive experiences here on previous visits. Last night, we went at 530-ish, to avoid crowds. We were seated. We waited. A couple came in after us. They were seated two tables away and were quickly greeted by their server. Later, they’re enjoying their drinks and we we finally see our server. Perhaps she was dealing with an issue in the kitchen? Not a big deal. We order drinks and food. About the time we get our drinks, the other couple is enjoying their entrees. In the meantime, a table of four and a table of two arrive and are seated on either side of us. We wait, and we wait. The table of four gets their food. At this point, we’ve been there almost an hour. It’s vexing; but things happen. I make eye contact with our server and raise my hands like “what’s up”? She says they had several call-in orders just ahead of us. How does that explain tables seated after us (some well after us) getting their food and us, no food for us? Still, “things happen”. A bit later, server arrives with our food- except, it’s not our food. The table of two on our other side, the two that came in forty minutes or so after us, politely say it is their order. The server checks with the kitchen, comes back to inform us that our order was thrown away. Wait. What? At this point, please, just bring us the check for the drinks, we are done. Our server offered to cover our drinks—sincerely. We insisted on paying so it would not impact her compensation. We’d hoped to be served a nice meal and enjoy a night out. There are many good reviews for Scouts so they must do good things for many people. Not everyone gets the same level of service. That was clear. At this point I’ve run out of excuses for them. Luckily, there are many delicious and welcoming dining options here in Franklin. We will not return to Scout’s Pub. Boo, Scout’s Pub. Boo.

On Friday, May 13th I ordered a mozzarella pizza online at around 6:05 and paid with my debit card. The order form stated my pizza would be ready at 7:00 p.m. When I arrived around 7:00 I was told that they didn't get the order and it would be another hour. I asked them to cancel it, which the young man said he did. And, then, I asked for a receipt showing where my debit card was credited back for the charge. He went and got the manager, Jordy, who eventually handed me two receipts....one for a $14.00 charge (no tax) and one for a $0,00 charge. It was all very suspicious, but they were busy so I left. The next day, I checked my bank account and the charge was there. I went back to Scouts and Jordy told me that it was probably just pending, that he had canceled the order and it would go away. I went back today and the charge is still there, definitely not "pending." So, I called my debit card company and she told me that there "was no way he could have canceled it, debit cards are like cash, and he would have had to refund the amount, which he did not do and never offered to do. I guess he thought I would just go away...after all, it was just $15,37....but, there is a principle involved here. Jordy obviously cannot be trusted to DO THE RIGHT THING. So, now...I'll have to go BACK to Scouts Pub (third time) for a refund.

I don’t know why I keep agreeing to meet friends here. I’ve visited many times since they opened and the food quality remains iffy. Today I came with some folks for brunch and thought that country fried steak sounded great. Ordered it. Ten minutes later was asked how I like my eggs. Another 20 minutes later I was served a steak pounded to an eighth of an inch with a nice coating, but greasy as could be. Scrambled eggs over-cooked on a flat-top and tasting of everything ever cooked on the flat-top with a touch of burned eggs. So, like every Puckett’s, save the one in Columbia which has a great chef, from now on I will only order dessert here and hope for the best.

We were greeted as we entered and shown to our table. It was not terribly crowded on this Saturday afternoon, but it filled up as we had our lunch. We ordered a variety of entrees, but the aha-tuna wrap was the winner at the table. However, the hamburgers and patty-melts were delicious too. The food came out quickly from the kitchen. Service was good. We didn't have a problem parking, but I can see where it would be when they are busy.

I had searched this place out as living in Nashville sometimes requires venturing out to a non tourist destination. Scout's had been on my list to try, so I ventured out and made it happen. Upon entering, you are greeted by a host and what appears to be a cash register. It was so awkward as I did not know what to do. I was greeted by "Can I help you?", which made me feel like I was supposed to give a code word or something. I didn't know if I was supposed to be seated or seat myself or what the standard was there. So after awkward stares between the hostess and I, I opted to seat myself at the bar. The local beer selection was good. I liked that they offered local selections. I had the fish and chips. The Fries could've been cooked a little longer, but they weren't terrible. I guess with covid, all sauces there come in a small ramekin. So be advised if you ask for extra, you will encounter a $.25 cent charge, That may be a small thing for some, but when you drop $60 on meal, do you really have to charge me a quarter for some sauce? All in all, it wasn't terrible, but the layout and atmosphere didn't match my anticipation or expectation. I think I'll just leave this one to the locals that live around the place.

3rd time is a charm! Will never go back! Food was worse than gas station quality- tasted like it had been re-cooked multiple times.

This is store bakery makes it products daily and throughout the dayFrom what I see from the counter the items come frozen and need a quick bake. So far I have not found a good tasting product in this bakery department compared to Publix bakery department or local bakeryYes you get custom iced cakesBut for all my bakery needs I buy at a competitor.

I live in the neighborhood and don’t usually consider Scout’s my number one pick. However, I was blown away tonight! I decided to order the Fuego burger, which was new to me on the menu. I hope they keep it forever!!!

Had a nice lunch on their outdoor patio. Fish and chips were fresh and not greasy. Brisket tacos got good reviews too. Pleasant atmosphere and good service. Look forward to going back!

We took our adult and nearly adult grandchildren for dinner on a Friday evening. The food was good and the service was great.

My dear travelers to Franklin! Noted by People Magazine as the best of the best small towns in North America. Seriously! Scout's Pub is everything fun in a "PUB" atmosphere you would want, along with an amazing menu. OMG the mac and cheese is heaven on earth. Then, crispy brussel sprouts are fabu and I don't even like brussel sprouts! Bahahaha! It's most certainly one of my favorite restaurants in downtown Franklin! You will love the cozy atmosphere! ENJOY!!!
